This is my favorite McDonald's and not just because it happens to be the one closest to my house! The food is consistently cooked and prepared like it is supposed to be: You don't receive a burger that has more secret sauce one day and less the next. French fries are never cold, always golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. They are generous with their fries, no skimping here! And, they change out the syrup on their soda machines regularly, keeping the soda plenty sweet and perfectly carbonated! (I have never gotten a soda that was low on the syrup, resulting in disappointing carbonated water with little sweetness and a bitter taste. Nobody wants that!) I tend to use the drive through most, but even during rush hour, with long lines, I rarely have to wait very long. The inside of the restaurant is always clean, smells good and the garbage is dumped regularly so you don't run the risk of getting your hands dirty when disposing of your trash. And every time I've used the bathroom it has been clean and well stocked. Best of all, the employees are courteous, friendly and professional. Nobody is perfect, though, and when a mistake happens, corrections are made and quickly fixed. I have had a wonderful relationship with this particular McDonald's since they opened their doors all those...
Read moreI wanted to try the new crispy chicken sandwich. Granted, it was 11:50pm, but they were still open and took my order. I tried the drive-through, but there was a car sitting at the order sign for quite a while and wasn't moving, so I backed up and ordered through the app and parked in the curbside spot. A guy came out and told me that they were sold out of the crispy chicken sandwich (that I'd already paid for) and offered something else like a regular chicken sandwich (that costs half as much) without offering any kind of refund. I asked if a Big Mac was an option, but did not actually order one. He told me to pull into the drive thru and order whatever I wanted. I pulled into the drive thru and that same car was still there, now at the window, and was happily chatting with the employee. I waited quite a while but she didn't move. I flashed my lights and she just waved at me and flashed a peace sign. I waited a bit more, then honked, and got the same response. Eventually the same guy came back out and gave me a Big Mac (almost totally cold) and I literally had to back all the way back out of the drive-thru lane. This was 3/2/21. Feel free (please!) to check your camera logs. It was 12:15 before I was finally able to leave. Unforgivably bad customer service. At least the guy who came out to help...
Read moreIt is disappointing to see the decline of this McDonald's, which was once a great establishment in the early 1990s. Over the years, the service and quality have steadily deteriorated.
The drive-thru experience has become frustrating, with employees rushing customers through their orders, often resulting in mistakes and poor service. The evening crew, in particular, tends to be slow and unresponsive, leading to excessively long wait times—even with the additional speaker and two lanes intended to improve efficiency.
Additionally, the night crew routinely shuts down the ice cream machine mid-shift for a four-hour cleaning cycle, preventing customers from ordering frozen treats well before closing time. Rather than transparently addressing this issue, employees falsely claim that the machine is broken, a practice that undoubtedly affects customer satisfaction and franchise revenue.
The quality of the food has also declined, with portions growing smaller while prices continue to rise. It has become increasingly expensive to dine here, making the experience feel less worthwhile.
Overall, the disappointing service, inconsistent food quality, and high prices make this location difficult to recommend. Customers seeking a better dining experience may find more...
