The Habit Burger Grill — Restaurant in Roseville

More a review to Habit Corporate as I’m sure our experience wasn’t a product of the store. What happened to Habit?! My family were such big fans of Habit, more so than the main competitor, call them “out and in”.

This has changed. We went to their location in Novato CA last month, now the one in Roseville today. We had a similar experience in Novato and thought it was a one-off. Nope, it’s a corporate movement.

First, they are now a $15+ burger meal type place. Inflation, politics, a money grab, it is what it is when the quality is there, I’d actually consider paying that for our past experiences. After this one, we both agreed it will be our last.

The burgers are 30% smaller. To the point where my wife and I looked at each other and said “no! This can’t be real!”. Then we wanted ranch with our fries, something you could get at the counter previously. Nope, they now charge for each ranch. I audibly said “holy sh1t, really?” So you increased the price 30%, decreased the size 30%, and you charge for things that previously brought us back. You literally did the thing that people are screaming about doing. You’re actively alienating your customer base for profit margin.

The food is just okay now, buns are different, smaller everything.

The Roseville location is quite nice and very clean. The manager was nice and respectful. But those aren’t the reasons we go back to Habit. Believe it or not, we go...

I love The Habit. I usually go to the one in Elk Grove but was visiting my daughter in Roseville. I ordered using these kiosks which are not friendly but not a problem. I got a text stating that my order was ready and got to the desk. I get there and was totally ignored by the dark haired woman working there. She helps this woman who came up after me being so friendly and showing her pearly whites. After she looks at me like I am dirt and walks away. Another worker had to come and ask me if I needed help. He goes to look for my order. The dark haired woman have my strawberry shake to another group who. Came in after me. I had to wait 10, more for my order to be made. The fellow had asked her if she saw my order. He would not help him, just looking at me. Mind you, I am the only black person in the place. I have not been treated like this in a very long time. I will not be eating at this...

First time at the habit burger Grill! Yikes! That vanilla shake will become a habit if I’m not careful!! I’ve never had a milkshake at a fast food establishment taste that naturally fresh and yummy. Really like somebody blended it at home and then put a bunch of whip cream on top. I don’t even want to think about how many calories. The best part of this first visit is that they are flexible with their impossible burgers (no animal product) and will exchange for a burger made of cow.

Great decision the habit burger Grill! Hopefully other fast food establishments will catch on and understand that our earth cannot sustain eating cows.

The onion rings were great and the Impossible burger was really yummy!

I challenge everybody who is reading this review to consider ordering a non-cow impossible burger on your next visit and see if you see a difference.
