Looking at the reviews I can not believe this location is rated at a 4 star. I placed an order online and had the food delivered. When I received my food there was a pizza missing. I called the store and let them know I didn't receive my full order I was told I could come pick it up because they were not able to delivery the missing item. I wouldn't have had the food delivered if I was able to come into the store to pick up. Plus why would I leave the other food at home while it was getting cold because they forgot the order. Come to find out they didn't forget the order they didn't have the gluten free crust in stock which would have been nice to know before waiting 45 minutes to have the driver drop the food off. I would have expected a phone call before they even started or completed the order. Then the manager stated the driver was supposed to let me know they didn't have the gluten free pizza when she dropped the order off which still doesn't make sense because I still would have waited until they arrived to find out they didn't have everything. The driver didn't say anything but I believe the manager shouldn't have made that phone call and not rely on someone else especially after paying $60 with a tip for Dominos. To top it off my son eats gluten free food and has diabetes so when I received the text update the driver was minutes away we gave my son his insulin for his food intake. Now imagine once you give an insulin shot your blood sugar drops because your body thinks your about to eat something to keep your blood sugar levels normal. The first person I talked to went to get his manager and I had to explain my situation over again. The manager was not helpful at all and he just kept saying over and over again that he credit the account for two free gluten free pizza's. I appreciate that but still did not explain why I never received a call that the item wasn't available and that could have went else where so that my whole family ate at the same time. Overall it was just the worse experience I've ever had and just the lack of offering better customer service especially when it involved a child with diabetes and Celiac. The moral of the story as this all could have been avoided by making a simple 2 minute call. Do go back and fourth with a customer when your store was completely wrong and thinking a credit would make this experience better because a gluten free pizza is $17.99 and now I have to find a way to get...
Read moreAbsolute worst experience! Before today, we stopped at Domino's and they told us that the wait would be 20 minutes in the store. After 25 30 minutes, I asked if the order was ready, and it was another 15 minutes....I thought I would try again. So tonight, I ordered the kids one large cheese pizza while we were setting up our Christmas Tree. After I placed the order, I noticed that it was going to be 1 hour and 45 minutes until the pizza would be delivered. I thought, well, I already placed the order. The kids tracked the pizza with the online pizza tracker, and at 930 (an hour and a half after ordering), the tracker said that our order had been made and checked for quality. The next step is delivery so I figured it wouldn't take long. AN HOUR LATER, I had to call the store at least 20 times before I got through due to the busy signal. Of course, as soon as they answered, they asked it I could wait. Ten minutes later, they can back on and I asked about my order. She said it was next to be delivered. I asked her how long it had been sitting there, since according to the pizza tracker, it came out of the oven over an hour ago. She rudely told me, "Well being that it just went in the oven 6 minutes ago, it hasn't been sitting out at all". I told her that according to the online tracking, it had been out of the oven a long time ago. She said "Everyone in Crown Point is ordering tonight because it's 50% off, so I don't know what to tell you." I told her to cancel my order and refund my money. It's 11 pm!!! If they are going to advertise 50% off on crap pizza, they should be prepared!! I know it isn't the first time they've run this...
Read moreMy mom just told me the craziest story. She was charged twice for one order. But get this, she placed that order for curbside pickup but had to go inside because no one responded to her check in. She waited about 10 minutes in her car. She tried to call. No one answered.
Once she got inside, she approached the counter and was asked for her name. Once she gave it to the employee, they went to the counter where the orders were kept. The employee lifts up the box and says “They’re not ready yet.”
My mom politely steps aside. Twenty minutes later and after several other customers have come and gone, the employee finally identified my mom’s order. That would be great except it was the same order that was “checked” the first time on the counter. It was the order my mom was told wasn’t ready yet.
What changed? Other than not properly doing your job right the first time. Before leaving, my mom is offered another pizza. Is this a make up for a mistake or a happy convenience?
My mom was told “We made same two of the same kind.” Implying my mom’s order was duplicated by accident. When my mom finally got home, the extra pizza was different lol It wasn’t the same at all.
Time wasted for what? And charged twice for what? I thought customer service was important. Guess not.
Plus, the staff makes pizza barehanded. The clerk was seen touching the phone, register, dough. Pretty much everything. All barehanded. It’s concerning. Do...
