Was very very hesitant on posting my review, however after not getting answers on the phone I decided a couple days later I should probably just do so. I was charged 8 dollars for a large coffee with vanilla and oat milk. Not sure how that's possible but that's the first issue I had. They were supposed to give me a couple Splenda on the side and decided nope ill do 5 and put them in your coffee and ignore as you asked....gross. they completely forgot to even add the oatmilk and the vanilla which I tried to go back up and "fix" a few times before giving up due to the training people neglecting it. I just said forget it....i also don't believe they even used Splenda as I can taste the difference...the coffee was horrible and I couldn't drink it and it went to waste...I also had a free donut scan in the app due to points or whatever and I got a strawberry dip for my daughter as I can't have the donut. My 4 yo wouldn't touch it because it was "stale and icky" so it went to waste as well. There seemed to be one man training like 6 people which I was patient with that's not an issue I get it. But they all stood on phones while the one poor guy was trying too hard to take orders. Hed tell them how to make the drink what to do to the drink and they still wouldn't do it right... There was a huge line inside and I'm sure drive thru as well due to this. I waited 15 min before order was taken but I was chatting with a friend so I didn't mind but I had to ask them to try and salvage my coffee 3 or 4 times and they were too busy so I figured I'd call and got no response. So to summarize, my coffee was over charged, they made it very very wrong, didn't fix it when I tried to fix it or just ignored me standing there, the donut was a waste as it was stale and sorta gummy and hard when I touched it to see what my daughter was trying to say. Overall I feel like I wasted money here...unorganized unprofessional and I'd be more understanding with the sticking one person for 6 or so people if the people as least listened to him or were off their phones not messing up orders due...
Read moreWent here while passing through. Thought it was closed it was so empty but I decided it may just have been the time of day. Figured it would be as nice a place as any to do a quick rest stop, and get a snack for the road. Stopped inside to use the facilities and came out I went to order. I just guessed not many people were working because of the time of day, but I saw someone in the back. I figured they were busy and it would be best for the both of us if I went through the drive through. I looked at their display case to see what they had (not much) so I would be able to order quickly something in stock and proceeded to get back into my car to get in the drive through (no line because the place was empty), knowing they had two crullers in the display case. Cool! All I wanted was one of the two donuts. Was immediately told by the worker in the drive through that they didn’t have any and were out for the day. When I said “strange, because I thought I saw some in there when I was inside just seconds before,” they simply repeated the same exact thing but a little more forcefully and offered to let me buy a honey glazed instead, pretending like they didn’t hear anything I just said. I don’t know if they didn’t want to get up from wherever they were hiding in the back to (now I realize, probably) avoid customers to check the display case. I would have accepted any other response than the one I was given. I’ve worked food service before and I always try to be understanding, but it was very irritating for them to just to resume the conversation like I hadn’t said anything and ignoring the fact that I knew they had the donut I asked for, and being treated like that put me off of eating anything from the establishment. Rude and very annoying, and I suddenly realize why the place was so empty. Thank goodness I don’t live around here and will never have to stop here again. Bathroom was clean, but that’s probably because people don’t care to stop here often enough to use it because of service and lack of most items being in stock. Drove off without...
Read moreAs a regular customer and a proud Canadian, Tim Hortons has always been one of my go-to spots for coffee and snacks. I usually opt for the drive-thru because of its convenience, but today I had some extra time and decided to go inside the store to get a feel for the atmosphere and observe how the team operates.
My experience started off well—the staff member who took my order was very kind and professional. However, while I was waiting for my order, I overheard a loud argument coming from the back. It wasn't shouting, but the voices were raised enough that every word was clearly audible to customers. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there. There was ongoing murmuring and complaining among some employees, which continued even as I stood nearby.
As someone who values professionalism in any workplace, especially in customer-facing roles, I found this quite disappointing. A well-run team is a reflection of good leadership and training, and today’s experience didn’t live up to the standard I’ve come to associate with Tim Hortons. To be clear, my intent isn’t to get anyone in trouble, but to highlight the importance of maintaining a professional environment—because you never know who’s listening or watching.
That said, I still appreciate the kind staff who did acknowledge the situation and apologized. I hope management takes this feedback as constructive and works to foster a more cohesive and professional team atmosphere. I would love to continue supporting this location, but today’s visit was not what I expected from the Tim...
