This was literally the worst Dunkin location I have ever been to. I would have given 0 stars if possible. The one girl working had either just woken up, smoked too much pot or come from another planet. That aside, I'm assuming this was her first job EVER and she was clearly not trained. After taking my order (I'll spare you the details of that debacle) she moves to put my sandwich in the oven. She asked what kind of sauce I would like. Well, what sauce comes on the sandwich? Honey mustard. Okay great, that's what I want.
"Oh I'm sorry, we don't have honey mustard". Fine. Ranch. She assembles the sandwich, hands me the bag and stares at me. So I stared back. It only took her a full 30 seconds to realize I was missing the hashbrowns. She scrambles to warm those up. Bags them up. And again, hands me my bag, with a blank stare. Can I have my coffee please?
"Oh yea, here". Hands me a very small, hot coffee. Not quite the iced caramel latte I had ordered. And at this point, I am through. Meanwhile, a coworker shows up. And as he's helping another customer, asks me if I've paid. Of course I've paid. But of course I get no receipt. It wasn't even offered to me. At this point, my lunch break is over. I want a refund for my coffee. And alas, since there is no receipt anywhere, there is no refund. I just left with no coffee, and no refund. I'm so dumbfounded, I'm not even sure what I just experienced was...
Read moreI've been to this unit a few times and something scares me VERY MUCH: how nowadays, with so much information and procedures, does a food place allow employees to handle food directly with their hands, WITHOUT ANY GLOVES???? Excuse me, I've never seen that, it's completely unhygienic and not correct. The last time I went, I ordered online and went to the store just to pick it up as I was in a hurry, when the guy came to deliver it, I asked "Is everything here?" and he confirmed that everything was in the bag, I believed it. Upon returning to work, unfortunately I noticed that 2 items were missing from the order (one person's drink and another person's food), I had to go back to the store to get it, I lost more time and as it was ordered for 4 people, some ate it and others didn't even have food or ate without drink. A store can be busy, but the order needs to be rechecked 2, 3, 4 times if necessary before delivering, otherwise it is the customer who is at the trouble of having to return and sometimes not being able to serve a visitor well (who was waiting by products). I don't go back to this place anytime soon, I need to make sure they are using appropriate stuff like GLOVES before getting anything there. Ps. Also, many times they are out of stock for Apple Fritters, please take it off...
Read moreUPDATE: Mar 2018 I finally went back after 3 months (the coffee is just too good). There is a new guy at the window that handles the orders like a 5 Star Point Guard. He physically checked my order to ensure it was corrected (bagel cream cheese NOT toasted - non-NY'rs, you don't toast a bagel). Someone brought up 2 bottles of water for the order behind me and he checked them, and took them back and got 2 more because they weren't cold enough. I love the coffee, bagels and donuts - if they keep this gentleman at the DT window, they'll get back to 5 stars.
ORINGINAL: Dec 2017 Staff Doesn't Listen or Pay Attention
I will have to stop going to this location now. Half the time my order is wrong. They have never been particularly friendly or courteous. I have learned at this location I have to repeat and clarify - something the staff apparently cannot do without having an attitude. Today was the final straw. I ordered a plain bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. The clerk didn't repeat my order, was too busy talking at the window to listen to me ask for confirmation, and what I got was very from from what I ordered. I don't think it would require much effort, or even hard work on their part to get my order right; it shouldn't require so much...
