The Ivory Brunch House — Restaurant in Roswell

We went for lunch , this was our first time going and honestly we won’t be going back. Everything was good at the beginning, I got my plate and it was decent because it was lukewarm , my husband had to wait for his plate quite awhile because the cook forgot to make his order. I was still missing part of mine too. By the time my husband got his plate my food was cold. Waitress was apologetic. I believe this would have not happened if they all stop congregating. I think manager should have been on top of stuff , she did replace my food but honestly it was too late I was trying to have a nice lunch with my husband. After that our waitress never came back, the manager was the one who came to charge us and gave us a big 10% discount. For being a new restaurant I would think they would have better customer service and a manager that is on top of everything. I walked in with my mom at 9:48 a.m. I looked at the time because anytime I am trying somewhere new, I start checking the details to leave a review. There were three other parties/tables seated and served (either actively eating or ready to leave). We were promptly greeted and told to sit anywhere. We sat down and were brought out the menus and was told someone would be with us shortly. The items sounded unique and delicious, we were excited to order and try some new things. We sat there for 15 minutes until 10:03 before we just got up and left. No one came over and took our drink order/brought us water, checked back, nothing. The Ivory was a wonderful place to start our day! We went on Halloween and the vibes were perfect. The hostess was dressed as Harry potter and was super sweet. She had us seated with menus and drinks very quickly. Our server, Noelani, was very helpful with explaining menu items and was quick with refilling our coffees! (it was a basic drip coffee so nothing fancy, but it was good) The food was great! I highly recommend the breakfast skillet. My friends got the sirloin and eggs as well as the bagel breakfast. Both said their meals were delicious as well. Do recommend the sourdough toast. It tasted like it was toasted on the skillet with a lot of butter! We are tourists today so likely won't be back soon, but if we ever find ourselves in Roswell again we will 100% be back...
