TLDR: great local small business to get some of THE BEST, fresh Mediterranean food. Today was my second time eating here (and first time sitting down) and man, this place did not disappoint. I've been having a craving for Mediterranean food and I stumbled upon this place while getting some maintenance done on my car nearby. The atmosphere is nice with widely-spaced seating, lots of room, and great decor. The customer service was on-point and the service was fast! But enough about that, let's get to the FOOD! The first time I ordered from here was on a delivery app. I ordered the gyro plate and gyro fries. The pita was soft, and fresh and man, the gyro fries were AMAZING! They were so good and a great portion size. Today, I decided to try other things. I ordered dolmas, falafel and the mixed shawarma plate. I feel like I was punched in the mouth with flavor! Everything tasted so good and was hella fresh. The dolmas and falafel were definitely the best I've ever had. Like. Ever. The dolmas were fresh, tender and not over seasoned. The falafels were perfectly crispy and so delicious. Onto the main event, the mixed shawarma plate. The chicken was grilled perfectly! Tender, warm and has that fresh off the grill taste. The gyro meat was a bit dry but nothing a little tzatziki and hummus couldn't fix. I can't emphasize enough how fresh the food was. It's great! Finally, finished it off with Turkish coffee and baklava fingers. šŸ˜ Overall, amazing place. Great food, good atmosphere, hella fresh and super tasty food.

Way overpriced. I feel like I was robbed. And that’s not the half of it. Service was horrible. Food was mediocre. Had to wait 30 min for a small order. They hardly had anything ready. They open at 11 am, I got there at 1 pm, and they still didn’t have gyro meat ready. I thought fine, I’ll order something else since I’m already here, and they still took 30 min. The barely visible staff looked like they just woke up. I got the mixed kabob plate ($20) and 15 min later they asked me to pick some other meat due to lack of supplies. I also ordered the chicken wrap ($9). That’s almost $30. You can judge for yourself by the pictures I’ve uploaded whether or not that’s $30 worth of food. I can name a dozen places nearby that will give you double the amount of food for $30. And don’t get me wrong. I’m not the type of person that expects fast, stellar service. Heck, as long as the food is amazing, I can even ignore all those other faults. But overpriced, mediocre food, along with such bad service amounts to robbery.

Kababji Grill is at the epicenter of culinary delight! Kababji Grill takes the best of Greek Mediterranean dishes and puts a little TEX-MEX twists on things. The falafels are so appetizing that they come off as medallions of perfectly seasoned home fries. Everything from the batter to the perfectly manicured size and seasoning makes the falafel so deliciously good that it's hard to share. The dolmas are just right in every respect, from the size to spices and acidity, Kababji Grill has struck a perfect balance. The fries comes lightly seasoned with an in house mix of herbs and spices that they can be a meal unto themselves. It's hard to pass up a TEX-MEX/Greek Gyro Quesadilla! The Gyro Quesadilla is some on a thin nine inch tortilla and can easily feed two. The spices meat goat cheese and spices makes this meal a culinary experience worth a try. The staff is super helpful and knew the menu inside out. So if you're in Round Rock, swing in and pay the Kababji Grill a visit!

Walked in. No one to greet customers. No one to seat customers. No one at counter to take orders. Had to self order on a kiosk, that if I hadn't walked up by the front counter, I wouldn't have known existed. Drinks are not self serve (ie; no cups out), but apparently everything else is. Fountain drink machine was out of order, even if there were cups. So I paid $1.99 for a can soda I guess.

Pretty sure I heard a microwave being used to make my food. I was the only person in the restaurant, so pretty sure that was for me.

Also there's a cheap divider blocking view into the kitchen, which seems suspicious.

Placed my order "to go" but it was brought out on a eat in tray. Easy fix, except that when I informed the lady of this, she wanted to argue, and told me it said eat in, when I distinctly recall pressing to go when I put my order in on the kiosk.

Then once they bagged the food, rather than bring it back out to me at the table, she slapped it on the counter and left it for me to retrieve, as if annoyed that I had told her it was to go. Update: (in response to business reply): "As a fast-casual restaurant, we focus on providing fresh, made-to-order meals as quickly as possible, which is why we utilize technology like self-order kiosks to streamline the ordering process." If this is the case, then maybe you should have some signage posted by the door, that dictates this to your customers. it is customary for customers to be seated by a host/employee upon entry, in such a large footprint establishment. No signs saying to seat yourself. no signs saying to order for yourself. the usage of technology is great, if customers knew where to find said kiosk. It was hidden on a counter, behind booths, not visible from doorway. In regards to the "fresh, made to order meals" then please explain why a microwave was being utilized to make my food. Also please address the cheap divider hiding your kitchen/employees from view. (i have more visibility into a mcdonalds kitchen, than at this establishment.)

as for the "confusion" about the "to go" status of my order, as stated, it was less about that, and more about the argumentative approach from the employee when i attempted to...

Overpriced junk and poor service. First time here and ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich with fries. They took 25 minutes to make one sandwich! And it came out cold with barely any meat in it. Had big lumps of cabbage that I had to throw out. Total waste of time and money. Will not be visiting this establishment again.

REPLY: Woah! I'm used to jumping in line? When I walked in there was no on in line and no one in the restaurant except 2 men who had already been served and an elderly couple who came in much later (and BTW who were served very quickly). And even if there were some invisible customers that I did not see, don't you think it's courteous to inform the customer that ONE sandwich is going to be 25 minutes late? Or to check in on them and let them know when you notice they are wondering what's going on?

I should have walked out the minute I noticed your impatience at my asking questions about your menu. You clearly don't have any manners, have an attitude, and don't belong in the hospitality business.

Yes, the sandwich was cold and I ate it because I was hungry and I had paid for it and you did not look like the person who would issue a refund. Do you suggest I should have thrown it away and wasted it? So what were you insinuating with "unless..."?

Anyways, case closed. Both the product and service were terrible, and that's my opinion that I am free to share with all of my friends and contacts, so they can stay miles away from this establishment. (I usually don't write bad reviews or reply but you certainly...
