I used to come to this place often during my college days. When I returned recently with my mom, we were treated with utter disrespect by a lady who seemed absolutely unhappy to be serving there. For example, not only was I ignored when I asked her to heat up my sticky rice lotus leaf wrap, but when my elderly mother lost a lid and requested a new one, this lady gave her a lecture instead of simply providing it. Yi Mei may dominate the local market for soy milk, and their clientele may keep coming regardless of the poor treatment, but this was by far the worst, most unpleasant dining experience I’ve had in over thirty years of dining...
