We visited this restaurant expecting a casual and enjoyable lunch. We ordered a potato chicken stew, but the potatoes tasted sour, like they had been sitting out for too long. We politely brought it up to the server, who was kind and offered to replace the dish.
But then, a man who appeared to be the chef came out from the kitchen holding the plate and shouted at us in front of other customers, saying: “Three people in the kitchen tasted it. There’s nothing wrong. Don’t come back here again.”
We were shocked. We had been calm and respectful the entire time. We weren’t looking for compensation, just giving honest feedback. But instead of a conversation, we were yelled at and told to leave.
After sharing this experience on social media (Little Red Book), I received many comments from others who had similar or even worse experiences here: including reports of poor hygiene, rude staff, and a complete lack of customer service. Apparently, this isn’t a one-time issue.
So here’s my honest advice: If you’re looking for a restaurant that values its customers and maintains basic cleanliness, do not come here. The food might be okay for some, but the way they treat people? Absolutely not worth it.

Read moreNajia Café is a hidden treasure for lovers of hearty, authentic Dongbei dishes. The moment you step inside, the warm, rustic decor and friendly atmosphere make you feel at home, reminiscent of a cozy Northeastern Chinese village.
The menu is packed with traditional favorites, and the portions are generous. The guo bao rou (crispy sweet-and-sour pork) is a standout—lightly battered, perfectly crispy, and coated in a balanced sauce that isn’t overly sweet. The stir-fried shredded potatoes have just the right crunch and a touch of vinegar tang that’s addictive. Don’t miss the braised pork with vermicelli; it’s rich, flavorful, and comfort food at its best.
Service is quick and attentive, and the staff are happy to explain the dishes if you’re new to Dongbei cuisine. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes.

Read moreReally want to give 0 star if I can. Purchase hot pot beef and lamb here. The beef smells bad and the color is weird. It seems like it has been stored in their fridge for months. Come back to return and mostly want them to know how they stored is not appropriate and they should be aware of. The boss here is very rude said this never happens to them and we shouldn’t buy from them again. Just want to let them know something never happened in the past doesn’t mean it won’t happen. How they handle food safety and their customer service is outraged. We DEFINITELY won’t buy from here ever again and suggest everyone else stay away from this place if you don’t want to eat something in the fridge...
