The bbq pork was soft and savory and the chow fun had a good char on it because of the blazing fire and the wok know as “wok hey”. This is one of my many favorite dishes.

Read moreMK BBQ is a takeout only food stand inside the HK2 supermarket. I didn't see a sign for MK BBQ from the outside and the location is not in an obvious place. MK BBQ is located where they sell the raw meat and fish inside the supermarket. MK BBQ sells Hong Kong style BBQ in a panda express like setup. I didn't see any areas to eat indoors but there are some limited tables outside of the supermarket. You can order certain items by the pound or order a full or half duck. You can also order a combination plate as well, which is 2 or 3 of their BBQ items over rice. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. No one was able to speak English when I went. However, I was still able to easily order by pointing to a menu and the items I wanted. Seems like a decent place for a quick lunch. Cash only. Lots of spaces in a huge parking lot.
Three Item Combination ($6.99): I ordered roasted duck, roasted pork with crackling, and char siu over rice. The char siu was excellent! The char siu was not too fatty, was tender, had good flavor, and had good balance between sweetness and savory. The pork and duck also had good flavor and had a nicely roasted edge to the meat. Unfortunately, they were both dry. Some of the other items in the food bar looked good though. Maybe they were...
Read moreCashier had a bad attitude - asked if I could get half pound of pig intestine (it’s $18.99 per pound) she replied yes. Then she grabbed the pig intestine without acknowledge me anything, weighted and charged me $15.76 before tax. When I tried to figure out what was going on because remember one pound is $18.99 and I only wanted half a pound, she then cut me off and told me they cannot cut the intestine in half. If that is the case she can let me know that it is almost one pound and since she cannot cut it in half or whatever, do I still want it? Instead, she just kind of forced me to buy it. Plus, when they cut it, it was way too big and We had to cut it smaller in order not to...
