The Royal Orchid pays all due attention to creating a pleasant atmosphere and to the cleanliness of their restaurant, and the presentation of the food leaves nothing to be desired.
The food itself was good, but my favorite Thai appetizers - fried tofu and crispy vegetarian Thai rolls - were served in small portions and many of the sauces were less flavorful than I've ever tasted at any Thai restaurant. The Thai roll flavor was better than average, and the Thai iced tea is amazing here - exceptionally strong and sweet.

When I bit into the mussels I discovered that they were frozen solid. For example, Pad Thai that is cooler than room temperature and so packed in that you cannot eat it without cutting it using a fork and a knife. We’ve also had issues with spring rolls and crab Rangoon that are clearly not fresh because they are somewhat on the soggy side and cool.
