Outstanding ice cream and traditional and inventive flavor options! The Indian inspired seasonings/ingredients in their specials added depth, uniqueness and fun. All the flavors we got came from their specials. The cajeta had one of the richest coffee bases this ice-cream snob has ever had, and it only got better with the chocolate chips and goats milk caramel (cajeta). The golden latte was a delicate blend of turmeric, cardamon, ginger, cinnamon and coconut. The Mexican chocolate was great, with strong hints of cinnamon and cayenne. I would’ve liked a richer chocolatey taste from the base (but I do have a cold and that could’ve interfered a bit). I look forward to returning to try their chocolate base with peanut butter (peanut butter chaos). There are several chairs and a couple long picnic tables surrounded by pretty bushes. I had been to this location before when it was Down River Ice Cream. I am assuming the change in name means a change in ownership and thus ice cream. The ice cream was not as I remembered. Less flavorful, less creamy, just a middle of the road product. I ordered Heath bar. Lots of chocolate, very, very little Heath bar crunch, and the base ice cream was bland. We had a long wait, but that was because there was only one employee, and the woman in front of us had a cooler into which she loaded multiple orders. Maddening, but not the shop's fault. Delicious homemade ice cream with all the regular flavors you could want plus specials! From their specials list, I enjoyed the saffron and cardamom ice cream with pistachios as well as their dates and walnuts ice cream. I wanted to have their Earl Grey and lavender ice cream, but it was sold out! There were several amazing flavors that you would not typically expect to see at an ice cream stand and, for that reason, I will be back again and again!...
