I really wanted to like this place but it’s a miss. I rarely leave bad reviews
.We went over summer and it wasn’t very busy. I ordered breakfast sandwiches, coffees and a muffin. The breakfast sandwich is advertised as “egg and cheese (and then choice of meat)”.

It was taking terribly long for the coffees and sandwiches so I decided to read the reviews about wait time and saw someone comment about mayonnaise on their breakfast sandwiches
which is odd and more odd you wouldn’t note that on the menu. I asked the cashier if they have mayo on them and she confirmed they do. I was very nice and saying that it wasn’t advertised (or told to us when ordering) and it we don’t eat mayo and they offered to remake them and then at that exact point I caught a glimpse of the “kitchen”
.

Just one girl, who appeared very flustered, was the kitchen person. I felt bad for her. Breakfast sandwich: The “egg” is liquid egg beaters and then pour it in circular egg cooker and put it in the microwave. The bacon appeared to be microwaved as well. The bacon was fatty and flimsy. The bagel also was in a bag that looked like Thomas Bagels. Then saw her smothering the sandwich in mayo. (At this point the cashier went back to her to tell her to remake them without mayo).

Maybe coffee is your thing but you cannot charge $8+ dollars for a microwaveable breakfast sandwich. Not sure if this is standard practice for their food, but I saw it first hand. I understand the rising prices (& this was summer 2022) but you can’t charge that much $ for microwaved items.

I don’t like to complain so I just took the food when it was ready and left. we didn’t eat the sandwiches. Coffee was subpar. 1 star for muffin. It was okay but I had to warm it up and put butter on it so it wasn’t so dry. Those 5 things were almost $30 and it was...

My wife, toddler, and I have been on a little cafe kick as of late, trying different spots in the area. After seeing all the stellar reviews for Brewed Awakening, we decided this would be our next spot to try.

The vibe in here is nice, definitely a spot to chill and relax if you have some time to kill. The (presumably) owner was making coffee drinks, hustling and overall friendly. Food portions are solid for the price and everything tasted good - our breakfast sandwiches came with a surprise potato waffle that was great!

The girl taking our order seemed like she just woke up from a nap and needed 6 espresso shots. Didn’t really have the same friendliness and enthusiasm as the guy making drinks. I got an oatmilk latte, which was pretty good - nothing mind blowing but got the job done. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on everything bagel, but asked if I could have cheddar on it - they said no they don’t have it so then I said ok just make it with sausage and egg NO cheese. I even verified again when I went to pay that it would be without cheese - well guess what, it had cheese on it. The strangest part is afterwards I was looking at their lunch sandwich list and there were clearly ones offered with cheddar - so they just don’t offer cheddar on their breakfast sandwiches? Kinda odd.

I know the type of cheese I wanted may sound like a strange complaint, but aside from preferring the taste of cheddar, it’s actually one of the few cheeses that doesn’t contain lactose, which for me is a necessity. All in all this place is decent but probably not one we’ll be back at...

We live 1 block away from this coffee shop and my kids like to get their breakfast sandwiches. Since the shop has opened they have been SUPER dog friendly so we walk up with my 2 small , well behaved dogs. Well a week or so ago the owner informed me that there was a complaint and now dogs can’t hang around for long, especially in the sit down area. No problem, we’ve never eaten there and always get to go. Today, walked up with my 10 yr old and my dogs. There was a short line so my son got in line while I waited outside till our turn. I went in to order and could tell owner was looking at me weird. He says right away with demeaning tone , “ didn’t we just talk about this?” Like I was a child that had forgotten what I was told. Surprised by the questioning, I said yes, just doing as you asked, ordering my food, paying and leaving(even waited outside till it cleared out for our turn). Owner says oh, ok if your not eating here, than you can wait inside. I said, “ you would have known that if you asked me” rather than assuming and scolding me as soon as I came in. He says “with that comment I can wait outside”.

Needless to say, we left and won’t be back. I felt very disrespected as I was only following what he had asked of me. We have had issues in the past with the younger staff being very rude but didn’t expect it from the owner. Again to be clear, we have never eaten in the shop so I don’t know if he has me confused for someone else. Either way, totally...

If you're tired of Starbucks or other kinds of artificial, fake coffees, COME HERE. Their coffee is a breath of fresh air. Service is always kind and genuine. I've had many gatherings here with friends and family members. I've never met a local who didn't love this place. I seriously recommend this place to any coffee lover. As for the staff, Adriana in particular is incredible. She always remembers my order, as well as my partner's. She makes sure we get them in a timely manner. But every staff member here is lovely, always greeting us with a smile.

A great addition to downtown Royersford. My wife and I finally got a chance to stop by while biking on the nearby Schuylkill River trail. Our drinks were delicious. The young staff was a bit inattentive that Saturday afternoon but that won't stop us from going back for more drinks and to try the food. The interior was fun and inviting but the exterior is a bit unassuming and the sign is hidden. Just a little more curb appeal would go a long way to draw in customers. Go check them out!

This coffee shop was cute, comfortable, and staff was super patient as my indecisive self tried to pick what I wanted. The place definitely has its options, and the coffee station is so cute. I like that they had a spot where you could fill your coffee with sugar, honey, or whatever extra you wanted. The place was quiet for the most part. Everyone was courteous of each other's presence and not at all noisy. And my iced mocha salted caramel was delicious.
