ABSOLUTELY the best place ANYWHERE to have an authentic, fresh, and mouthwatering acai bowl. I started visiting this place when they were a food truck. I would follow them ALL over the place and would buy at least 5 bowls and freeze them. Once I heard they were opening a store, I nearly fainted. I was hoping and praying they would and was beyond ecstatic when they did. The bowls are so incredibly tasty and good. I have tried other places and all I can say is “Yuck!” Sorry. The truth. Nothing compares to Sweet Aloha. You can tell they have taken a lot of time, sweat and tears to make these bowls to pure perfection. In addition, they have the best avocado toast I have ever had. The bread, the freshness of the tomatoes, the greens etc. SO good. My husband loves their smoothies and baked oatmeal too. This place has gotten it right. The problem is, well not really a problem, you can never go anywhere else. NOTHING will compare to how AMAZING this place is. Kudos to...
Read moreNothing compares to SAB! Their ingredients are fresh, they offer various options for everyone, and the atmosphere is so fun with the plants and plenty of seating. I have been going weekly when I am home for years now and I always look forward to it.
In addition to how delicious SAB is, Kai and her team are fantastic and they also support other small businesses by selling their products (kombucha, jewelry, accessories) in their store. They also support businesses in the community. When Lost Planet opened up the block behind them and needed help finding servers to remain open, Kai and other team members from SAB stepped up and helped serve to see Lost Planet succeed. It’s amazing seeing this community come together to support each other.
All this to say, you can’t go wrong stopping into Sweet Aloha Bowls and trying any of their menu items all while supporting a well...
Read moreWe tried the Maui bowl, Moana smoothie and Hoku smoothie. They were great. The Moana has a very lite flavor and the Hoku was blended to have an almost chocolate mousse texture. The Maui bowl is as delicious as it sounds (and the size is completely shareable)! The space is beautiful and the chairs are curvy-friendly in that they don't have arm rests and offering both high top and low top seating options. Atmosphere received a 4/5 because the loud blender noises are constant like the vuvuzelas at the World Cup held in South Africa. So there were times where we couldn't hear each other clearly when it is made to seem like a chill place to hang. Understandably, it is a business with blended treats, so I know this isn't really avoidable - they might just consider some sound proofing solution between the kitchen and front counter in the future. We will make sure to...
