Friday, December 8th Sometime between 5p-7p.
This is BY FAR the worst McDonald's I've ever been to in my 45 years of life!
These workers act as if the customers are an offensive inconvenience! It's unbelievable!
My sister was met with a hard exhale and eyeroll from the young lady at the counter when she walked up to order her food, and we should have left immediately but we were traveling for a funeral and needed to stop for food. I'm assuming the employee was high on something, as the whites of her eyes were red. She had a black eye, like someone had punched her, and she was socializing, having personal conversations in the lobby with her friends when we walked in.
We were going to ask for the manager and file a complaint, but witnessed HER waving off a customer while remarking "Whatever" when he tried to express his disdain for them messing up his order in the drive-thru (THE MANAGER SETS THE TONE)!
One young lady even walked to the front to look at ALL THE PEOPLE waiting on food and literally stated "Man it's too many people here!!" Guess she doesn't realize THE PEOPLE keep the doors open and checks flowing! I've never seen anything like it.
The only nice person was the young lady bringing the food to the front, calling the numbers (she had red braids). She only showed frustration when she was spoken to in a harsh manner by a customer, but that wasn't her fault. She remained calm and didn't react or say anything back. We could tell she was offended, but she handled it very well.
I say FIRE THEM ALL - except for the one young lady with the red braids. Our fast food order took well over 40 mins, so fire the cook staff too! Especially the guy who was cooking fries while gossiping on the phone (he had a pushed back afro and wore the drive thru headset).
We spent more than $200 combined for 14 ppl, and I regret it because this location is trash!!!!
I don't recommend anyone go here, as there are too many other eating options...
Read moreWell. It's McDonald's so you know what the food is going to be like. So I have them a 3 for consistency and good fries. However, the service was just annoying. The drive thru person rattled off what sounded like a single word except it had 60 or 70 letters. As in she talked way too fast and apparently I was interrupting her cell phone conversation because after the third time she rattled it off and I said, "what?" She said "just pull up sir". When I got to the window she has is talking away on her phone I'm one hand and taking my money in the other. I know I'm a crusty old Gen Xer but that just grates on my nerves. So I asked her twice how much and she didn't hear me. I swear she was standing there with her hand out taking away. So I just stared until she finally managed to penetrate the phone fog and direct her attention to me. She then for the first time told me the total. Which was double what it should have been because she got it way wrong. I remember now why I don't go to McDonald's. I can accept the food because I know what to expect and it's okay, if not good, except for the fries. Lol. But they need to take the cell phones away or block them or something. I placed a very simple mobile order, and waited in the curbside pickup for over 20 minutes before finally walking inside and asking about my order. One of the workers came and told me the order was not showing up in their system, and that my receipt did not matter. She said, "my job is to get your money, and I can't do that if your order isn't showing up. You need to cancel the order and then we can try again in here." So I asked, how do I do that? To which she responded, "I don't know, I didn't go to school for that. You're just gonna have to figure it out." She didn't even bother trying to direct me to a support number or anything. During this time, two other customers had issues with their orders being messed up.
