We’ve been ordering here for 20+ years and spend so much money here. Their delivery driver an old grandma is EXTREMEELY rude and unsettling. We’ve had 3 disturbing experiences with that lady and I’m pretty sure she’s family with the owners. She demands more tip, she comes dressed homeless and I said “I’m going to get the cash” and she rolled her eyes and said how long do I have to wait when it hasn’t been 1 minute. She pretends to be nice when she feels like it and stares people up and down and with disgust. I have pictures of her too so you guys can see and hear the way she acts and presents herself. Disgusting we’re never ordering here again & will make sure none of our friends and family do either. This is the third time we’ve had an uncomfortable experience with this old lady who is also at the register sometimes. & make sure she doesn’t overcharge you on purpose they’re known for that. We’ve been overcharged 6 times and we haven’t said anything about it thinking it’s a mistake but it kept happening. On top of that they made our order wrong 3 times and instead of giving us a new one they sent a delivery driver to pick up the old one. Weird as if they reuse the old dish. I’ve heard a lot of other...
Read moreOrdered a bacon cheeseburger for pick up. Went to pick it up, got home and when I opened the bag, there was no burger. Instead, there was 2 cold hamburger patties on a hero bun with no bacon lettuce and tomato. I honestly thought this was a joke. This was disgusting to look at. I don’t mind the different bread but I did mind the old looking cold patties on it with absolutely no toppings. I had to drive all the way back and I showed them what they had served me. They told me that they were sorry, but they ran out of hamburger buns. I told them that I really didn’t care about that but they should’ve called me anyway to at least let me know. It’s the courteous thing to do. A restaurant should never just make an assumption and substitute something without first asking the customer. What got me mostly upset about the whole ordeal was how they thought they could just throw on 2 nasty pieces of left over hamburger patties on the bread and pass it off as a fresh made cheeseburger. This is not the professional way to handle things at a restaurant. Will not be coming back here and I will be telling my friends the same. Very disappointed about this whole situation. It definitely could’ve been handled better...
Read moreWe've been ordering from Mama Rosa for about three years now (and that's only because we've been living here for about three years). Mama Rosa is our go to for both pizza and dinners, and they've catered for us as a few times as well (most notably for a backyard wedding reception, 80 people raved about the food). Just wow. Every staff and delivery person has been delightful to deal with, the quality of the food is excellent, an overall fantastic bang for your buck!
I really need to mention the cavitelli with broccoli rabe. I'm a talented cook (or so my friends and family tell me) so if I'm ordering in, 9 times out of ten it's out of convenience. Broccoli rabe, in particular, is one of my favorite things to eat if I'm cooking for myself but is sadly hit or miss at restaurants. Guys, theirs is as good as mine! I was floored the first time I tasted it! If you think you don't like broccoli rabe, trust me, give this a shot. You won't be disappointed.
All in all, ten out of five if you need a meal for yourself, family dinner, or a party of any size, I couldn't recommend Mama Rosa more highly.
Now if you will excuse me, dinner was seven hours ago, and the leftovers in the fridge are...
