Artistic Fence Co. — Local services in Passaic

If I could give zero stars I would. Artistic Fence Co installed my backyard fence in the middle of March 2021. 3 weeks later my Sprinkler company came out to turn on my sprinkler and backyard lights. While turning everything on, he noticed the rain sensor and multiple lights that were strung together underground had been damaged. Since he was the same guy who turned off the system the previous fall, and since we had no other work done in our backyard other than the fence install, he knew the fence installers had mistakenly cut the wires. I emailed Kim Douglas (my contact at Artistic Fence) and she assured me twice that the repair work would be covered by Artistic Fence. She even told me there was no need to get multiple quotes for the work. I had the repairs completed on 5/3/2021 and immediately sent Artistic Fence the invoice and a copy of the check I used to have repairs completed. We are now almost 6 weeks since that time and after multiple voicemails and calls to the company I have had no follow up or resolution. It's one thing to refuse to pay for damages, but to say you will pay for repairs and then ignore the customer is even worse, and speaks volumes for the type of company this is. Artistic Fence is lacking in integrity and if you have to use them for anything I suggest you monitor everything they do and have them repair any damages the same day they occur or...

Artistic fence definitely deserves a 5⭐️ review. We have dealt with this company multiple times and each and every time we have been very satisfied with their quality products and their installation. We had two unfortunate fallen tree accidents at two different locations and asked for repair as soon as possible. Even in these uncertain and busy times Filomena went out of her way to arrange repairs at both locations. Chris U came out so quickly to give us an estimate and contract. Cannot say enough about this company, impressive from start to finish. Kim was unbelievably helpful in making sure the permit was approved by our town. She handled a LOT of back and forth and was always pleasant, responsive, and accommodating. When the town finally approved the permit the installation was scheduled within a week. Ricardo and Johnny were right on time the day of the installation and put up our fence beautifully, navigating our tricky yard which is not perfectly level and has a lot of tree roots and rocks to contend with.
