Main Street Coffee & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Rutherfordton

I have to say the business is very good and deserts are very good but I have to say they have a newer employee young kid blonde hair who typically seems to be working evenings who is not very good. He has given us bad experiences twice now and is very unprofessional. First experience was probably last month we came in for a simple dessert and he complained the entire time saying no we can’t do that we closed, and than even made the item wrong and still expected us to pay for it. And our next experience was tonight the employee saw us coming and he decided to look the door before we could get in. So unprofessional and rude. He literally looked right at us when we walked up and had no care about customers he just wanted to get out and close up obviously. I am giving three stars only because we’ve had great experience with the other employees and support the local businesses. But if you guys don’t get rid of this kid you are going to lose customers and business. Please remove this employee and hire someone who actually cares about your business...

I absolutely love this place. I live in Huntersville North Carolina outside of Charlotte. My daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren live in Union Mills. A lot of times when I visit, the grandkids and I will go to the coffee ice cream shop for ice cream. They are always kind and professional. Absolutely phenomenal. If you're trying to pick a coffee shop in town to visit I highly recommend this one! I get a hot muddy sneakers latte every time and my partner gets some kind of mocha on their specials board. They're both so delicious. I have to stop here every time I'm on that side of town. Also the plants they sell there have stayed alive and grown better than any other plants for me. I have 5 or 6 of them now and they are all flourishing, most have gotten so big I've had to...
