UPDATE I am beyond impressed with the follow-up and superb customer service I received from Rus (the boss). He listened to my take on events with a patient and kind ear. He addressed all concerns and had a plan to improve for every one of them. Almost felt like I was taking to an old friend. He even offered a thank you for my review and my time to give them another chance to make me proud to spend my money there. I am also impressed at the team work and communication and care all of his employees have that shows high respect for him and his business. I will continue to support and definitely bring more supporters to his store. Highly recommended. Highly appreciated. Absolutely "delish"!

I was 2 minutes early for an online order that ai placed for pick up. They said it would be 5 more minutes. I see it get packaged up 5 minutes later. No one bothered to let me know, I watched how busy they were so I gave them a chance to finish what they were doing. 15 minutes later I have to ask one of the employees for my order and she said no one got to tell me it was ready, was the reason why it sat there. Even tho there was about 3 times it slowed and they were bagging utensils for future orders. I asked her if it was still hot since it was sitting forgotten and she hesitated, but said yes. I opened it once I got to the car and it was not even warm anymore. Getting soggy. I always tip really well and usually am happy, but this experience was terrible. I'm highly disappointed. Delish Pizza on 16th Street has completely stolen my heart (and my taste buds). I don’t even know where to start because everything about this place is next-level amazing. The staff? Absolute gems. Every single time I walk in, I’m greeted with the warmest smiles and genuine kindness – you can feel the good vibes the moment you step through the door. These folks aren’t just employees, they’re the soul of this place, and their energy is unmatched.

And management? Top-tier. You can tell they care deeply about both their team and the customers. It’s rare to find a spot that runs this smooth and makes you feel like family at the same time.

Now, let’s talk about the pizza. I’ve been to more pizza joints than I can count, but nothing compares to Delish. Their stuffed crust is my not-so-secret obsession – I have no idea what magical blend of cheese they use, but it’s completely out of this world. Like, seriously. It’s rich, gooey, flavorful, and has this almost addictive quality that keeps me coming back again and again. I’ve literally daydreamed about it. No shame.

Delish Pizza in Midtown Sac is definitely a go-to spot for satisfying your pizza cravings without breaking the bank. For the price, the pizza is pretty solid, and I've never ordered a pizza here that didn't hit the mark. They offer some really tasty combos, and I especially love that they include yellow peppers on some of them - definitely a nice touch for flavor.

The only reason I’m not giving them a full 5 stars is that I’ve had a less-than-ideal experience at the Midtown location once. I went in with some friends - nothing out of the ordinary, just hanging out - and it kind of felt like the staff was judging us in a way that made things a little awkward. I don’t know if it was just an off day or what, but that interaction left a bit of a sour taste.
