From the one hand there are shadow spaces and great kids things to play around, from the other hand it is tiny, it is exposed to traffic so no privacy at all. Also, the lawn is not well maintained and some spots covered with soil so they are not usable for sitting. Unfortunately, when we were there homeless people washed clothes in the fountain and garbage was scattered around cans. Thus, I would prefer to visit the park next to the city hall, however Fremont Park is not that bad to stop by walking...
Read moreWent to the Chaulk it up festival. The chaulk artist are incredible. We actually went two times (Saturday and Monday) so we could see the start of the art projects on the first day and the finished product on the third day. We took the grandkids with us, they really enjoyed the day. The event coordinator gave the children a box of caulking sticks to encourage them to draw on the sidewalk.
