From the moment we stepped into "The Library" at Lucid Winery in Sacramento, we knew we had found the ideal setting for my graduation party. And what makes this even more remarkable? I booked the venue sight unseen! It was a leap of faith that paid off in the most wonderful way, exceeding all expectations and making for an unforgettable celebration. The ambiance of The Library was captivating. There were lots of antique books, with natural light from the skylights; it felt both elegant and inviting. The intellectual charm provided the perfect backdrop for guests to mingle, celebrate, and create lasting memories. It offered a unique and sophisticated atmosphere that truly elevated the entire event, and I was so relieved and delighted that it was even more beautiful in person than I had imagined. What truly set Lucid Winery apart was the exceptional staff. From the initial planning stages to the last guest departing, their friendliness, kindness, and attentiveness were simply outstanding. They went above and beyond to cater to every single guest's needs, anticipating requests and ensuring everyone felt comfortable and well-cared for. Whether it was ensuring drinks were flowing, assisting with any setup, or simply offering a warm smile and helpful hand, the team at Lucid Winery made us feel like truly valued guests. Their dedication made the entire party seamless and stress-free, allowing me to fully enjoy my special day with loved ones. Considering I hadn't seen the space before the event, their proactive and supportive approach made all the difference. I'll definitely be back to Lucid Winery, not just for future events, but to explore their wine selection and soak in the wonderful ambiance again. The positive energy and great service made such a strong impression, and I can't wait to return and experience more of what this gem in Sacramento has to offer. Thank you, Lucid Winery, for a truly magical graduation celebration – you made my "sight unseen" gamble a...

Wine fans; beware. Instagrammable experiencers; give it a go. Lucid has a BEAUTIFUL space and they clearly have put their creative energy towards building a space that is enjoyable to look at. (This is what’s earned them the one star, IMO) Their wines are drinkable at best. Marketing as “natural wines”, the wine lacks enjoyable presence and the nuance a natural wine asks for in the wine making process. My SO and I shared a flight, and their picpoul was extremely poor. Following that, there was only up to go from there, and I was only able to find something that was drinkable enough to sip a second time. If you are familiar with a spectrum of wines, and including natural wines: be wary of your choices if you choose to patron here. If you are not a wine fan: please don’t hold this against wine industry. They may have had a kombucha on tap? I could be wrong, either way, I didn’t taste or purchase it. They did have staff that was eager to assist and engage with customers, and that’s not meaningless! We were assisted by two staff members who were very kind and caring, and there was a third who seemed really engaged with other customers at the bar. However, my wine tasting was so poor, this isn’t enough to bring me back to spend my money and time, even...

As one of Sacramento’s Top Realtors, I recently hosted a client appreciation event at Lucid Winery in Midtown Sacramento - and I can confidently say the experience could not have been better.

From start to finish, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, and they made sure everything ran smoothly. A special shout-out to Ben, our server for the evening, who went above and beyond. He not only ensured every one of my guests received top-tier service, but he also took the time to thoughtfully explain the incredible selection of wines Lucid offers.

Speaking of wines - Lucid has an impressive and unique variety, from bold Merlots and Cabernets to rich dessert wines and even Mead sourced from local honey farmers. Every pour had a story, and every sip reflected quality and care.

The vibe at Lucid Winery is relaxed, welcoming, and full of charm. The space itself is located in a beautiful, old-style brick building that’s filled with unique character and modern flair, making it the perfect backdrop for any gathering.

Whether you’re planning a special event or just looking for a relaxing evening with great wine and even better company, I highly recommend Lucid Winery. It’s truly a unique and special place in the heart of...

As a certified sommelier it pains me to write anything other a than at minimum, an encouraging review of a small, local wine producer but I’m afraid that this establishment is in-fact producing and attempting to sell what is nothing other than fulminant flawed products. Then to add injury to insult, charge laughably high prices for what should have made its way into a waste container. For those that know, the pictured wine is of picpoul blanc (fruit from Lodi) and despite the moniker of “organic/natural wine making” and the description by the owner as “kombucha” style wine……this is perhaps the most flawed, oxidized, volatile acidified, contaminated wine I’ve ever encountered. I’m sad to say that this winemaker is bottling and selling his demonstrable lack of ability to produce actual wine and instead is charging $48 for what the French have produced for centuries as a simple, crisp table wine who's archetype is in western France (Pinet) and is imported and sold for anywhere from 9-14$ anywhere in the states……not to mention its rightful expression is almost clear/straw in color and slightly petillant with crisp lemon curd notes and hints of minerality. The pictures speak for themselves.

We had a surprising visit to Lucid Winery. Truly Amazing place, where human and environmental ideals surpass commercial temptations. As Dutch visitors accustomed to the european wine world and no amateurs on wine tasting, we were curious about the wine scene in California. We struggled to find an opening to the wine world of California but this place was it. The atmosphere inside is incredible, the building and interior speak only of character. The story of its creator is one of idealism, the story of their vast menu of self made natural wines just as good. All thanks to Michael, the sommelier who took all the time to tell the stories. And then the pricing, really breaking with what is custom in these parts and standing proof for their mission to make wines available for the people. We left the place today energized by our visit. Thank you guys so much!

My small nonprofit did a virtual wine tasting fundraiser with Lucid Winery & Voluptuary Wine. My representative at the company was Jordan and Bryce was our sommelier for the event. From start to finish this winery was amazing to work with. They answered all my questions quickly and made me feel at ease about the process. They were fun, yet professional the whole time. The wine kits arrived on time and were way more than I could have ever expected. All of the wines were really good. They offer different pairing for whatever you prefer. I was happy to know they had a vegan pairing which was awesome. I learned a lot on the tasting and Bryce was super nice and great at answering any of our questions. If you're a nonprofit, a corporation or a group of friends looking for a unique and fun night, Lucid Winery and Voluptuary Wine is 100% the way to go!
