McDonald's — Restaurant in Sacramento

This place was horribly run. I asked for two no bun and no onion bacon burgers to go (a very typical, low-carb request). They told me first that they couldn't make them like that, so I asked for a manager, as all other McD's have made them, no problem. He said yes... except I then waited over 10 minutes for them to be ready, and when I checked, they were literally smothered in onions. I brought it to their attention, at which point they told me they gave me the wrong order, but I checked my order#, and it was the same. So I waited. Another few minutes went by, they gave me my order and apologized, and I left in a hurry to meet up with my group thinking all was good. Not until I reached my destination and opened my burgers did I find them ALSO packed with onions, but inside the lettuce so I didn't notice till I was eating one. What if I had been allergic? During all this, my friend had ordered (right before me) one single McGriddle which she waited for for about 10 minutes before she said anything, at which time the manager told her "Oh yes, we make it fresh for you". My friend told him "Yeah, right- you forgot." He admitted yes they did, but were cooking it now (three other customers had been served by this time). She asked him if three more customers went by before she got her order, would he give it to her for free or compensate in some way and he said yes. Four more orders actually went by, so they refunded her money, and when he saw her still waiting, the manager said, "What, you still want the sandwich?" She was frustrated, but also hungry, so she said yes, got the sandwich and left. This was definitely the worst experience I have EVER had in a fast food establishment, and I would neither go back nor recommend...

Homeless hangout, some employees are super friendly while others could care less about having a $20 hr job 50/50 chance you will get some lame that will hand you your food out of the drive thru window without saying a word and walk away,therfor leaving you without drinks condiments or even a " here is your order,thank you" so you know that they are done and you can drive away! This place is probably the fastest drive thru I have ever used so congrats on that,but this has to be the most inconsistent with the way they make your food or especially the way they make your coffee! I'm going to say that 5/10 times I have ordered coffee they either forget to add the sugar or the creamer, and the five times that I'm giving that they do give me the sugar or creamer it is not stirred and they don't give a stirrer . And last of all I get inflation but this McDonald's is the most expensive McDonald's I know of . That's right not all McDonald's have the same price on items. Even ordering online this place is outrageously priced, sometimes they offer specials thru their app and sometimes they don't. I just know that yesterday I paid $8.57 for 2 REGULAR coffee's (not frapachinosor any gourmet coffee). NEARLY $9 !!!!!! I THINK I WILL GO ACROSS THE STREET TO STARBUCKS FOR THAT PRICE. I would give this McDonald's 2 stars due to their stale and cold burgers and breakfast sandwiches but they get 3 for how fast you can go thru...

We all know that the food you get from McD's is fairly consistent. A quarter pounder with cheese, an order of fries and a Coke is the same at the corner of Rio Linda and Elkhorn as the food you get at any other McDonald's. What makes THIS McDonald's get a higher rating than others are the people. When you opt to go thru the drive-through and you have a memorable experience, that is a McDonald's that deserves to be recognized. We just ordered two drinks, but one of our dogs has a problem with voices outside of the truck. I can only imagine what her sharp bark sounds like over their speaker system!! We pulled up to the window, apologized to the very nice young man for our unruly dog. He asked what types we have and we told him that they were small, misbehaving dogs. When he gave us our change, there were two little cookies for the dogs!! That's all it took for us to make a commitment to visit this McD's when we're in the area!! Stop by and see...
