I come to this location religiously everyday. (Literally) The lady taking my order was rude, I ordered my drink and said can I get a venti extra hot white mocha and she proceeds to say a white mocha anything else. She then repeats my order and I say that's extra hot, correct. She then says, a venti white mocha. I pull up to the window and ask the cashier are you guys messing with me today?? And she turns away. I hear the lady who took my order speaking to another employee saying ... " if you want to talk fast I can talk faster and if you want to talk slow I can do that too, I can't deal with these people" I'm not sure if she was speaking about me or the man behind me. I did not think i ordered fast. When the cashier turns to hand me my drink I asked her "is that extra hot?" and she could hardly even answer and said yeah it could be. I then told her I asked for it extra hot 3 times and she failed to even push the button and my coffee was cold and not even warm.
At this point it's not about something so little of the coffee being extra hot or not, it's the fact that you wanted to be petty enough to ignore that a customer who wasn't even rude to you tried to repeat her order three times adding extra hot everytime and you would just say white mocha. The cashier showed no empathy and just said sorry while rolling her eyes. I came and ordered today at 850 am. I guess it's to early for customers to be ordering. (FYI I ask for.extra hot because I have a newborn so when I get back home after dropping kids off at different schools I need to get him situated, so by the time I can sit back and relax my coffee is warm.)
Usually I have a great experience but today was uncalled for and I guess that's a sign to give up wasting money everyday on starbucks..lol.
Shout out to Jason though, he has always been consistent! He probably knows the face to.this post too. 5 stars for him but the staff today was not it and he was not the typical friendly face opening the window. The reviews are on point as I have experienced similar experiences, you either get the good batch or the bad. There are some employees that clearly don't want to work and clearly don't know how to follow directions for custom drinks.
There are two specific employees that DO NOT have customer service skills that I have encountered this past week.
One, was very snippy when I pointed out that my drink was not made correctly. Then, she couldn't make it right the 2nd time either. My drink was made incorrectly again the next time I ordered it 2 days later. What they can't seem to get right, is that it is ordered NO ICE...really not that hard to get right.
The other, just shuffled around like she was wearing slippers and clearly didn't want to work. My drinks ordered on the app hadn't been started 10 minutes after the estimated time of being done and when a coworker that was working hard kept mentioning to her that the teas needed to be made all she managed to do was to walk back and forth from one end of the counter to the other, not doing anything...shuffling in her slippers. Then, when she made the two iced teas that I ordered they were made wrong. One was the wrong size and the other was ordered light ice and had just as much as ice as the one ordered regular.
I thought this location was on the right track once the original manager was replaced, but something has definitely changed recently...that hasn't been for the better.
And of course, I never receive a survey for this...
   Read moreWell I really love starbucks and thank god this isn't the only one. This place has the worst set of employees I've ever seen. Not sure why , but they always seem to be closed during hours they say they're open. This morning I pulled up to the drive through and they actually had a posted piece of paper saying they were open at 4:30 am. It was 6 am and I sat in front of the speaker waiting for someone to acknowledge me along with others behind me. After a couple of minutes I drove to the window and saw several employees inside doing what I dont know. They still did not acknowledge me so I knocked on The glass and literally there was a kid right there and he didnt even stop to look up or at least tell me what why there were closed when clearly their posted hours said they should be open. Finally after knocking and yelling at the window a young lady comes from out of nowhere and basically with hand signals said they were closed. Bottom. Line this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with this store, so I'm done going to that one and will unfortunately have to drive a little farther for my weekend coffee treat. If I owned this Starbucks I would definitely think about hiring a more responsible set of employees cause these...
