Ginza Sushi Bar and Grill is a welcomed addition to the local dining scene, bringing a diverse menu and a slightly upscale atmosphere compared to other restaurants in the area. The decor is simple yet vibrant, featuring colorful accents, bar stools, and artwork on the walls, contributing to a pleasant ambiance. The restaurant has three televisions that primarily display sports, which did not detract from our experience, as we were fully immersed in the food.
Please note that they are currently awaiting their liquor license, so beer and wine are not yet available. Additionally, there is no dedicated kids' menu; however, the offerings appeared to satisfy my three-year-old grandson. My husband and I opted for water, while the children enjoyed pop soda.
I thoroughly enjoyed the A1 sushi roll, while the Tiger roll was decent and the Crazy roll was particularly enjoyable, especially with the added spice of jalapeƱos on top. My husband ordered the bento box and expressed a wish for more than one protein option; nevertheless, he finished it enthusiastically, suggesting he found it agreeable.
Considering the ambiance, the pricing is quite reasonable and gives the impression of a more upscale dining experience. My granddaughter remarked that she would return every day if possible. The staff was notably busy despite the soft opening starting at 5 PM, and I look forward to experiencing the full vibe once they are fully operational. We definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt typically leave reviews, but had to because this place is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It was our first time here so we ordered Bento boxes and the experience has been a joke.
First, we came when they just opened at 11AM and ordered 2 bento boxes to go. It took about 40 minutes for them to give our food. I am not upset about the time as much as I understand that the kitchen needs time to make the food. But it is upsetting we were forced to go back because our order was messed up.
Not just it being messed up but the biggest disappointment is the size of the portion. I ordered the salmon teriyaki and never in my life went to get a bento box anywhere where the Salmon was this size.
We went back to bring up how they messed up our order and also the size of the salmon is unacceptable. The restaurant said that is just how they āOperateā with no accountability or accommodations.
While I am an understanding person as I know the service industry is hard, this restaurant is not a recommended place as I feel like there are other places that will give you better portion sizes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the honor of visiting Ginza Sushi & Grill for the first time yesterday evening. š£āØ The experience was delightful. The service was attentive, unobtrusive, and very friendly. We were immediately offered ice water, which, to our relief, did not taste like tap water. After that, we ordered edamame, a dozen oysters, miso soup, and two rolls. The edamame and miso were classic and well-prepared. The oysters were fresh, nicely sized, and beautifully presented. The only thing we didnāt quite enjoy was the salmon roe insideāit had such a pronounced fishy taste that, in our opinion, it overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the oysters themselves. As for the rolls, the Double Toro Roll was excellent, with plenty of fish and a perfect texture. The Signature Roll was a little on the dry side, but still simply delicious, with a lovely touch of heat from the kizami wasabi inside. The restaurantās interior was also cozy, beautiful, and comfortable, making the atmosphere just as enjoyable as the food. This is definitely a place worth visiting...
