If i could give this facility a negative 5 I would.
My dinner partner disliked the food, we both disliked the cleanliness of the tables AND the staff & our service.
I got the BBQ Mac and cheese. It was good. A steep price, though, for bad service & unclean tables.
The first few tables hostess wanted to sit us at were dirty. The last one was decent except it had sauce smeared on the table so that tells me they simply WIPED the table- they didn't CLEAN it. We asked for it to be wiped off. The server came back 5 minutes later. Why it took him so long to get a rag with cleaner on it is beyond our intellect. We couldn't sit down & get comfortable until it was done so we stood ..waiting.
We can't recall what my partner had to eat - that's how UNMEMORABLE it was. UPDATED: WE REMEMBERED THAT IT WAS THE GYRO. IT WAS TERRIBLE & SMALL.
The waiter kept coughing - into the air with a half-hearted covering his mouth. Making an attempt to cover your mouth just to make it look like you tried is AWFUL. He would lift his arm up to his waist when he coughed but it did NOT cover any portion of his face or the sputum from the cough or the cough, itself. He was coughing over EVERYTHING & EVERYBODY.
The waiter kept forgetting EVERYTHING. I asked for lime - THREE TIMES. He returned woth lemon twice. We finally took to tell him "THE GREEN ONES". He finally got it right but at that point I didn't care. The table beside us - they asked ANOTHER server to tell their server (same server for us) to get the bill. He returned later - wayyy later. He took so long to do absolutely everything. He never came to check on how our food was. We don't want to be babied but if we needed something - it would NOT have gotten done. So we just made do with what we had & went on about our dinner. He finally returned to the area - not to check on us but - we flagged him down & requested 4 things at once because we knew we wouldn't see him again. He kept wanting to not listen & kept trying to walk away after the first 2 things we listed so I specifically told him, "we have many things that need done in order for us to leave so just wait & LISTEN". He was horrible, unclean & unhygienic & didn't care About us & that was reflected in our 10% tip!
The manager never walked around. If you dont care enough to see how your patrons are doing then you won't care when I tell you I had horrible service...so that's why I'm conveying it so everybody knows to not give any money to your business.
Will never...
Read moreI have been going off and on to this place for roughly 5 years since it has opened. I have never had a bad experience until last night.
I was on a group of 4 people. We all ordered drinks and appetizers. The food was good but we had problems with the server and bar tender. Bar was out of the rum I typically get but they tried to charge me for it at first, on top of the other drinks I ordered instead. Then the bar tender "accidentally" added double shots to a few of our drinks. and then made us PAY FOR THE DOUBLE SHOTS SHE ACCIDENTALLY PUT IN.
We ordered two separate neat shots of gin, the forst shot came on ice, second one was right. Ordered a whiskey and grapefruit juice and compared to the other drinks it had no alcohol. Ordered a gin and tonic, got charged for a double shot. Ordered two rum and tonics, got one normal beverage, then a double shot in the second. Got charged for three of them.
When the check came, it was expensive. $150. We were confused as to why it was so expensive. We looked it over and she had charged us for items they were out of and the substitution. We brought it to her attention about the double shot charges, and her response was "I warned you they accidentally added double shots."
After talking to her a bit she offered to change the prices back to what we ordered. Why should I have to tell my server that I only want to pay for the items I actually ordered. If you make a mistake and then give it to me, why should I have to PAY for your mistake?
I use to love going here. It has always been slightly expensive, but on that rare occasion, it would be a nice treat. I'm happy more restaurants are opening in the area soon.
After talking to the server, this was the adjusted receipt. It still had more than we ordered. But we we're done trying to get then to fix...
Read moreWorse frozen margarita in the US. No prices on the drink menu. Always beware of businesses in small communities. No competition usually equals less than desirable product & service. Seen it too may times. The waiter had to go ask when I told him I wasn't going to order anything I didn't know the price of, happy hour or not. He tells me the margarita is $5. He knew it was my first time there & didn't mention they have $5 horderves (?) Quesidillas, etc during happy hour. Instead, he suggested the $11 3/4 salad since I wanted healthier than pork. What country are these owners from? What's up with the fraction prices? The lettuce wasn't cold & I had them hold the pepperoni. What country eats pepperoni on their salad?...not near the border. After meal was almost over when waiter checked back, I mentioned the margarita wasn't cold, (let alone frozen). Nothing...so later I asked for a cup of Ice to put in my water after I told him I had to use the ice for the margarita. I guess unbuttoned shirts all the way open to the T-shirt go with the sports bar look but underware is not my style.Hope I am not desperate to go back here due to this being a small community. They know we have no similar choices except Coaches, around 15 min & it isn't any better because it's in a small...
