Safari Park — Attraction in Sahuarita

Beautiful parks, no place to park if you're hosting a birthday party for a child. It was a 23 minute walk from the club house to the area where party was being held. My husband is handicapped, so I had to drop him off on the street closest to the picnic area, leaving my car parked with hazard lights while I made sure he was able to navigate the thick grass and found the correct party. Someone called the cops on us just as I got him seated. I was barely had a chance to get a drink of water before they showed up. Took my car to the pool area (only parking) and made the long trek back. Ridiculous lack of planning. Beautiful, expensive homes. I would never buy there for...

Safari Park, Safari Park, Safari Park. What else is there to say? I've biked through Safari Park many times in my many days and I must say it never changes. However, Safari Park isn't but a mere park, it is a sanctuary of hope and a constant display of a tightly wound community of familes and friends. Psych! That place kinda sucked; last time I was there a javelina false charged my bike and even though it looked super dumb, a dark and dreary fear looms over this park of destitute from now...

Super cute park! Has dozens of animal statues around the trail. Perfect for photo opps.

The play ground it’s self is covered, and had Ramada’s near to watch over children. Nothing spectacular.

Largest complaint is that the bathroom is at the top of the trail and is not one anywhere else. So once you start the walk and your kid has to pee, might as well go home.

Parking is also by the bathrooms so to get back to the card is a 10 to 15 min walk.
