Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

I have been a customer here for a long time now and the customer service has went down tremendously. I went to visit this location on today and both the cashier {Amelia} and another associate named {Emma} both had a very interesting attitude. The cashier rushed my entire order so much to the point that I wasn’t asked if I wanted to use my rewards app. She wasn’t friendly but very dull as if I was inconveniencing her. I always order my smoothies as double blended because they are very thick if not. The worker Emma quickly went to pour my smoothie in the cup without it being DB so I politely asked her before finishing the process to please double blend it. She rolled her eyes and only double blended the portion that she had not yet poured in the cup. This lack of customer care has been ongoing but I have tried to give the benefit of doubt that maybe the worker was having a bad day or tired but it’s now becoming a consistent thing which really concerns me. During these times people should be more gentle in their approach especially when one is spending their money and patronizing a company. I will not be coming back; beyond juicing has much better customer service and tons more options. Hopefully management can be better at leading those...

Their smoothies and food are absolutely delicious! I order online because the line always seems to be long (but that means it's busy because it's so tasty!). However, at this point you still have to wait in the line to pick up your order so you really aren't saving that much time and the food gets cold.

The inside is decorated in a very trendy way. They have a barside table to sit and eat at as well as regular tables.

The staff is always friendly and kind. Not your typical teenagers who don't put any effort in their fast food jobs. They make sure everything is quality before sending it out.

I think this is a great place to dine in for a first date or catching up with friends. And a fine establishment for bringing a family in to eat. It's also great for takeout!

I want to start by saying that I LOVE TROPICAL SMOOTHIE but this location is already letting me down with only have gone 6 times. I use their app to get the rewards points and the one time I was in there I had the app out and ready and waiting to scan and the girl saw me have it out and I asked her after I paid when to scan? Because they are suppose to ask in general if you have the app and then will tell you "go ahead to scan". Well after I asked, the girl says "oh it's already to late" and she knew she messed up because I was really bummed about not getting $26 in rewards points. She just overall she didn't even apologize or nothing and then at then the next time I ordered a turkey bacon ranch sandwich and got one piece of bacon!
