Always a good alternative to the mega franchises.
Only drawbacks to my visit were the price...While yes, a good alternative to the corporate giamts...The prices are very premium for what you receive and how it is presented.
Over $16 for 5 pieces of boneless tenders, and a medium (oops SMALL) portion of Shack potatoes...VERY PRICEY!!!
Major STARS off for presentation. I walked in and one elderly guest was waiting at a booth awaiting her order which I have no idea how long she waited...But from my perspective and order...Seems way too long by comparison!!!
Total of 4 workers, one cashier, one female cook, one wandering long haired male without a hairnet and a VERY LOOSE man bun hairdo, and one other female who walked in smelling of...fresh, let's call it SMOKE, but not the convenience store variety. She also came in to meander around with the man bun male, they went back and forth several times from a back room behind the cashier,, but never carrying anything or performing any noticeable work duties.
Call in orders for at least a half dozen people came in and out during my wait...All cooked moments before their arrival, as I stood waiting for my single order. All large family sized orders done by the again lone cook!!!
After all the other orders, including one walk-in I can assume "regular customer" who ordered/walked out with his order way after my order was taken...I received my order and left.
The eco-friendly container the lone cook handed me (without a word of Thank You or Enjoy Your Meal) with my meal in a plastic bag, barely contained the oils from the potatoes during my drive home as it shifted and leaked throughout the typical plastic shopping bag. Luckily it did not leak onto my car interior. At least give a heads up that the heat soggy container may shift or open/leak would have been nice. She also tossed a pair of used gloves near a trash can and it did not look like one made it as the cashier looked down later as she walked by the area, not very healthy as she handled raw chicken with them and being on the floor in a common worker area.
Also noticed the female cashier empty a weird wooden vase oddly placed for TIPS between the PLANdemic plexiglass...No sign, just placed between the slim space between the shields. She emptied it and I did not notice her take the contents to what I would consider a mutual space for what I can assume would be division among the workers. Found it odd that it was there, when I received my own change, which she seemingly couldn't fully reach my outstretched hand...Kind of alerted me to it's presence.

Read moreIf I can give them a -0 I would I talk with the manager which name was Hannah about my order today we ordered through Uber, I’m guessing that they’re policy is that they don’t do anything when you order through or third way delivery. But the problem was that the food was not cooked correctly the potatoes were burned and didn’t have any butter on them and the chicken was dry,so the driver had nothing to do with that. Hannah did not want to replace the order!! She stated on numerous of occasions make sure that you have the food when you come to pick up a new order,as if I was going to eat the order and then try and get another order. Which that was very sad and from my understanding of being a business owner at the current time due to Covid we are not excepting anything back from a customer to protect our staff and self. So after all of that was said she stated what time could I come? I stated that I run a business and that’s why we order delivery I didn’t close until seven. I received a call from them stating if I do not pick it up tonight they will not be able to replace the order. This establishment is so unprofessional and I do not recommend anyone to go here. Also I will be reaching out to corporate because this is unacceptable!!!!!

Read moreThis is the third time I had to have them remake my order the first time it was raw chicken, potatoes too burnt and mushrooms that were too cooked you couldn’t eat them. Yesterday I went here to pick up a order I had ordered a large mushroom but because of my last experience I asked them could they cook them a little on the light side because the last few times they cook them too hard. When I got home and received my order the half way filled them and the bottom ones were cooked too hard and the ones on top were raw. I immediately called and ask to speak to a manager and she apologized and left me a credit. Today I called for my credit told the guy the same thing. I had someone to come pick up my order and they only FIX ME A SMALL Y WOULD THEY FIX ME A SMALL ORDER WHEN I PAID FOR A LARGE? N when I was on the phone with the gentleman he himself said it was for a large so I called and spoke to a manager I believe the same young lady and she said oh well idk it was written down to give a small. Every time I come it’s always something especially when the young crew is working they hand out anything and food is not cheap for people to be wasting money on it.
