T.A.P. CAFE — Restaurant in Saint Clair

Food and drinks are a bit on the ordinary side, lots of sweet treats to get. Prices are high, so I do recommend going there in very small groups if you plan to order a lot.

The atmosphere is very calming and cool, bathrooms are tidy, and they have items to occupy children with. Cool place to hang out, but they close very early, which is a big shame, as they could get more service from later hours.

Staff is very sweet, kindly asks you to buy something if you are just hanging around. Once on a hot day, one of the employees asked if I wanted a free water and if I was okay. Very kind and polite.

Went in with family and got 4 drinks total, all of the coffee drinks had coffee grounds and were gritty, ordered a honey blueberry latte and it had zero flavor and was super dark. All drinks had maybe 2 ice cubes if that including bubble tea. Came into the cafe with my 6 lb dog who is a registered ESA she was being held respectfully. No signs stating no animals. Young girl at the register said “your dog needs to be outside” in a very rude manner. Nobody greeted us or said have a great day. Rude staff and awful drinks for an expensive price. Next time we will go to Starbucks. Unfortunate because we used to love this place as it has a beautiful atmosphere. Smiling and respectful staff goes...

We enjoyed a late breakfast at T.A.P. Cafe. It was relatively quiet shortly before 11:00 am. The restaurant was dealing with some storm damage from a few days prior, as were other businesses in this complex, but signage helped avoid unusable areas. We sat at the large open door facing the park and river. It was nice to watch the boats navigate the river while we waited for our food. I had the Morning Philly Cheesesteak Burrito which was very flavorful with the combination of steak, cheese, fresh onions, peppers, and mushrooms and scrambled eggs.
