This place was great. The food scene in Coral Bay has changed for the worse over the years and it’s really difficult to find a good meal and good service when you stay here. We were happy to find a Johnny Lime on this trip. This place is simple with a counter you order and pay at and you sit at picnic tables while you wait for your food to be delivered by a wait staff. I got the mahi mahi with the corn bread and yucca fries and it was all so delicious. The mahi mahi was so flavorful and I am still thinking about it days later. The cornbread was so savory. The first time we ate there we didn’t wait long at all for our food but the second time the wait was a bit longer but still manageable. The staff who works there along with who I think are the owners are so friendly and kind. The owner was also helpful with my toddlers food allergies and was happy to answer any of my questions. I hope to return to eat here then next time we come...

My husband loves a dry rub BBq and we ended up here three times in the week we were on St. John. They keep the operations simple. Five or six smoked meats and a host of sides to add to the menu. Most sides have an upcharge. There are also sandwiches that serve as lighter fare. And a usually one desert - It was a cardamom cinnamon roll while we were there. . We tried the brisket, pork ribs, and half chicken and liked all. Finally, they make cocktails o. The spot.

We tried Johnny Lime's three times. Two were excellent, the third where our meal took over an hour indicates they still have a lot to.work out. All of it was tasty and well worth it. For unique items get the smoke pumpkin and grilled okra. Mac and cheese is great. Skip the local greens as they are nothing fancy.

We arrived at Johnny Limes just before close on Friday, which just happens to be lobster night. The gentlemen who owned and ran the restaurant were so nice and encouraged us to sit and enjoy our meal while they cleaned up and closed up for the night, there was no rush at all. I had the pulled pork and my husband had the lobster. Both were delicious. We enjoyed the okra and macaroni and cheese as sides. The cocktail was so tasty. The atmosphere of Johnny Limes is a casual and comfortable covered outdoor space. There was a saxophone player taking requests while we were there, which added to the fun and quirkiness of Coral Bay. Prices were reasonable. Staff were helpful...

This place is your spot for dinner on the east end of the island. The bok choy could be the best bok choy I have ever had! The lobster (only Fridays) worth it! They freshly smoke it in some crazy good herbs and spices and the butter has it mixed in too, the subtle smoke on the lobster is amazing! They have all sizes of lobsters to choose from, pay per 1/4 lbs. The mahi was killer and wife loved the pulled pork areapa. The jalapeno corn bread was also delicious. The coleslaw is great on a sandwich and pass as a separate side. Multiple people had the brisket and said it was delicious. Bonus all the bbq sauces are delicious and clearly scratch.

This place was exactly what we needed. We were over on this side of the island exploring the different bays and the plan was to go to Skinny Legs, but it was closed for the season. Glad we found the spot. The same folks that brought us The Lime Inn and Lime Out have a third gem on the island. Delicious pulled pork, mahi sandwich, and jerk chicken.. Really wanted to try the beef ribs, but just didn’t have the stomach bandwidth. The sides were great as well, macaroni and cheese, jerk squash, cornbread is amazing, pickled veggies, and we all loved the rice and beans. Will definitely be back!
