This place is absolutely THE hidden gem around here. The food - was excellent. MORE than typical burgers etc. My family (wife and 2 kids) had the fettuccini with shrimp, I had Cajun shrimp, wife had stir fried. Sauces were solid and great. Portions were what I hoped for. Drinks were great. Matt and Morgan were wonderful. When we pulled up and were looking for a bigger establishment, who knew that this cool bar with a kitchen and great vibe in the grass by the bay, was going to be right there serving up some serious seafood. You know who knew? Some local named Pete who walked up to us and said “you’ve got to give this place a shot - new owners and you’ll be surprisingly and fully satisfied” Pete’s the man and he was exactly right - thanks Pete! Matt offers up great and honest drinks that simply hit the spot. Yes, it’s outdoor. What’s the worse thing that could happen? Maybe a hurricane hits? It did. And I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else enjoying great conversation with Matt, Morgan and the locals… eating excellent seafood in such a friendly down to earth place - we need to make...
Read moreThis place is this STAR of Coral Bay. They have amazing food, great drinks, and reasonable prices. The music is the best- it kept me here longer than planned- the Bartender Matt, is a Gem and he will give you every bit of info you could want about what’s happening now, where is the best place to rent, sights to see. Don’t miss Sharky’s…. With Free Parking, pristine views, the freshest food, and best music… this spot will elevate your St. John experience to an 11.
Highly recommend anything that involves the Blackened Mahi, I did the salad, my husband did the sandwich and we LOVED it. My husband said the local hot sauce was the best he ever had and he doesn’t talk in those terms.
I wish when I was eating I thought to grab a pic of my food, but Hindsight is 20/20… The drinks are amazing and priced right, there are kids enjoying the corn hole, and families hanging on the patio- this place is right for...
Read moreWe stayed in Coral Bay so this time of year there are limited options for dinner as some other locations were closed. Sharky's was the only place we saw people on this side of the island - it's a busy place - locals too! But....I have to say I was disappointed with the food - I was expecting more after reading reviews. My husband's tuna poke bowl was served in a small cereal bowl - it was definitely not enough for him. I had the Mahi Sandwich and it was not fresh and lacking any flavor. For the price we were very disappointed - it was expensive for a roadside bar...waterfront though! This is better as a bar in my opinion. If you want more food and don't want to go into Cruz Bay try CoCo Jim's (a very casual road-side place) on Centerline Rd - the smoked chicken, potato salad and slaw was fantastic! Rhumb Line's jerk chicken was also amazing and it was a very cute little garden theme inside under the...
