Baguette De France — Restaurant in Saint Joseph Charter Township

I’ve always gone to this Baguette and just recently started having bad experiences. Two weeks ago I stopped in and got a drink with my sandwich, and noticed while waiting that my drink was expired. I went to grab another one and that one was also expired. I kept looking and all of the bottles of the tea I wanted were expired. The cashier was very rude about it and said “you don’t need to keep taking them out”. I was taking them out of the cooler to find one that wasn’t expired... but I ended up with a drink I didn’t really want because I had already paid for one. Today I decided to go there again. I called ahead and ordered a sandwich. I often call ahead because I go there on my lunch break and don’t have time to wait for them to make the sandwich. When I walked up to the counter I said I was picking up an order and the cashier said “Hawaiian?” I said no, and she said “Nope. Haven’t had anyone call except for that order in an hour.” I explained that I had called a few hours ago. She said no again and then said “I can make it for you though”. I said thanks but I don’t have time, to which she said “okay.” The fact that someone dropped the ball on my order is fine, but I refuse to put up with rude workers. And I’ve had to deal with...

I usually have a great experience there but today I order a sandwich for lunch and I asked for a certain sandwich the same sandwich I always order. It was ready when I got there but when I got to work my sandwich that I got had no vegetarian meat. I have never asked for a sandwich without any meat which is always vegetarian meat. I had just got the same sandwich the day before. I was told when I called I did not order a vegetarian sandwich with meat but a veggie sandwich. I was told that I did not say what I did order. That was extremely rude. I will finish my coupons that I got from this restaurant and I will not be returning. I have gone to Baguette De France for a few years and always order the same sandwich. Instead of apologizing and saying they would give me another sandwich or a refund. I was told that said something else. The food is really good, they have something for everybody, meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Prices are OK, the restaurant itself is really small. The only negative comment I have is that last month I brought my friends, they're we're excited about dining there for the first time, BUT I'm not sure who this person was, maybe the manager? or something, but when my friend got to order this woman had no customer service, she rushed my friend to order and looked like she was in a rush, so my friend was very upset that she just had to rushed to order and wasn't allowed to really order what she would have liked. After the order was placed this woman left shouting orders and really obnoxiously left the restaurant, por friend of mine had a terrible experience.
