Chicken Coop — Restaurant in Saint Joseph Charter Township

I did an online order Sunday July 16, 2023 @ 3:07 pm at Chicken Coop of 2062 Washington Ave, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085 I call to check on the order and the female staff said... no such order came thru and i stated i did an online order... so she has the manager talk to me and the manager bluntly unprofessionally tell me in a mean way that they don't do online order and for me to contact Benton Harbor Chicken Coop location..... So I did and Benton Harbor location told me no such order came through there. I call the St. Joseph Chicken Coop again and again the Manager was irritated that i call about the same order issues and talk to me unprofessionally once again. So i went back online to see if i can see what going on there.... I discovered an order has taken place and the money was taken off the card and another online order was taken by some strange company call BringMeThat that took the online order which i don't remember sign up for to take my order So i call the St. Joseph Chicken Coop to see if the order came through and to explains to them of the confusion.... but once again the Manager lady got irritated of me calling.... she were very unprofessionally toward me as a customer. After i hang up..... they block my number to call back. I use my house phone to call back and they answer..... but the manager were very rudely and unprofessionally to hear what i have to say about the issues that I am having with the online ordering. Its so sad of people in such leadership position to treat their customers that way..... I never gotten my order..... i guess...

This place is horrible. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a restaurant in my life. My fiancé stopped in there to get dinner and had ordered on online. When he got there they told him they didn’t even have the machine plugged in. So he sat there patiently waiting for his food. Well another gentleman had stopped in for dinner as well and had also ordered online. The issue began when the gentleman had asked how much longer, rightfully so as the food should have been done by the time he got there and had been waiting before my fiancé had arrived. Well that’s when the lady behind the counter decided to get snappy with him, which turned into them arguing back and forth, by the end of it he had turned around to leave and she says “sir do you want your food” very rudely and drops his food onto the counter. All in all your in the food business learn how to not be so rude and nasty. And the only thing that was hot when my fiancé got home was the chicken everything else was cold and we don’t...

When I am able to order chicken here...it is great....HOWEVER. when they are open ..they all.most NEVER answer the phone..also if it's close to closing time they turn out the lights and lock the door when they should 've open.Tonight at 15 b4 closing I called to place an order 4 2 of their large family orders of chicken...they said they couldn't take an order for carry out by phone.so we said ok..we will be right there..got there..waited in line for them to say AFTER WE STIIID THERE FOR 10 minutes that they RAN OUT OF CHICKEN . ... SERIOUSLY!!! ?? THEN WEsaid we would be contacted thing corporate..and their response was.. OVER SOME CHICKEN????

OF course!!! I don't believe 4 1 min.that they RAN out...they were just angry because they want Ted to close I get it and I've worked in the same business myself... Utah you were open and you simply wanted to AVOID filling my order.... NOT...
