Taco Bandido — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

Been eating there every since I can remember and never had a problem until tonight. I went through the drive through and for some reason the lady on the other end of the intercom got all my order but my drink. She asked me to repeat it and I did slightly louder, that did not work so she asked me again and I told her even louder, but I did not yell, I just raised my voice. If I yell it's way way way louder. So I kind of chuckle a bit since I had to say it 3 times and the lady on the other end was very offended I "yelled" at her. I did nothing of the sort, I just raised my voice because I thought she could not hear me. I was not rude what so ever. Most people when you got to repeat your order 3 times in a drive through assume they can not hear you so you speak louder. She was upset and very rude I apologized and she told me i could go to the window and apologize (which I just did and I guess she could not hear me) for yelling at her or take my business somewhere else. Since she had issues with the speaker, her ears, or something I choose to go somewhere else. Also unless you got a SUV with 4 wheel drive don't even try to get up their drive through, it's a pot hole infested bumpy as heck ride. Needs some serious work.

After response from owner. I did not cuss at the employee, I never would or did. If the lady I was talking to was only 16, it was the deepest most mature 16 year old voice on Earth. Just saying, all I did was raise my voice since I assumed she could not hear me and if that is too much for whoever to take, maybe get a better speaker or this is not the job for her. I get it the boss has to stick up for their employees, but I never uttered a swear word...

Typically love eating Taco Bandido. Have been eating there for 10+ years. Always get the chicken with nacho cheese on the side. They recently became available on DoorDash with new ownership and we were beyond thrilled. We ordered our usual 4-piece with fries and nacho cheese multiple times and were shorted a piece of chicken for every 4-piece ordered. We continued to order though because we love the chicken that much. One of the times, they went as far as to write 4 on the outside of two of the boxes but we still only received 3 pieces of chicken in each box. The last two times we ordered, our order was cancelled. My dad reached out to see what was going on and was met with accusations. We are honest people making honest livings and we were treated like liars. I guess this ends our time enjoying what was one of our family’s favorite places to eat.

Update: never received a full refund only partials for the chicken and we only had issues with the cheeses twice. The rest of the times the issue was the missing chicken as I clearly stated. Don’t know why you keep saying cheese. One DoorDash refund was around $20 and the other it was $9. I don’t know how that amounts to hundreds… Will be uploading screenshots of our DoorDash orders and refunds as proof. It’s one thing to make a mistake, it’s another to accuse someone of lying about an incorrect order. Clearly no one checked the chicken as we always received a 3-piece no matter how many...

Very tasty tacos. I went 4x in a week after my first time.

I've been going regularly because they are close to my job. I've probably eaten there 30 times in the past couple months. I always get the same thing. 5 tacos, no cheese, extra hot sauce. For some reason, the crew keeps putting cheese on my tacos every now and then.

I have a bad sensitivity to dairy products. I will be having absolutely unspeakable, debilitating digestive symptoms for the next 3 or 4 days. This causes me to be unable to go out, get any chores done or function at work. I have emphasized that i cannot have cheese on my tacos and still been getting it. And i can look at the taco all i want, but without tearing it up into a mess i can't tell until i am eating it that it has cheese. Sometimes i don't even notice until the next day when i am wondering why i am spending my whole day in the restroom.

Normally i have a strong stomach and nothing bothers me except the foods i am sensitive to like dairy or soy. I have followed a strict diet for many, many years so i know when it was something i ate at a restaurant that affected me. It also helps when i find loose pieces of cheese in my taco wrapper.
