I really like this spot because they have vegan options. Their vegan juicy Lucy does not contain soy, which is a win! I LOVE the black bean wild mushroom patty with the Pico de Gallo, vegan ranch, and tortilla chips. The flavors are amazing. It's a party in your mouth! My family enjoys the broasted boneless wings and walleye bites, despite the very small portions for the price. I mean small. All visits, and there have been several, have been take out. I have only seen 1 black diner, ever, which makes me not want to dine-in. Also, with the pawtio, it's a cute idea, but my dogs are not allowed in the kitchen when food is out, so I would not eat around them. Too much shaking and dog hair that can fly into my food. I'm cool. Anyway, the inside is really cute vibe, nice sized bar, I've picked up during trivia night, which seemed fun, and they have plenty of TV screens. I usually work with the same hostess and she is really sweet and cheerful, never a bad vibe from her. She got me signed up for rewards, which was super helpful.

For the food... if you are a strict vegan, if they are not busy, you can ask the kitchen to cook your vegan burger in a separate skillet. I feel cooking vegan food with meat defeats the purpose. I do not want any animals or animal products near my food or in my body. Ew. Gross. Plus, not everyone has a clean dog. Anyway, the fries are usually pretty good with a nice crisp. Sometimes, they will give you a bunch of fries that cannot be eaten with the black spots or are soggy. See photo. Totally turned my appetite off. Whomever gave me these needs their hand popped. The nerve of you to give me these nasty fries when I am paying $20 for just a burger and fries. You need to make sure every bite is edible AND enjoyable. My first visit, they NAILED it! See photos. Also, my 3rd visit within a couple of weeks, after they had nailed it the first 2 visits, the kitchen dropped the ball. I was told they were not busy, and it was slow when I picked up, so I do not understand how/why the burger was so... sad. Barely any toppings. Also, I prefer their fries over chips. The chips were bland and not quite crunchy. It was like they make the chips and did not quite fry them properly. Completing this review and seeing my first burger, I want this now. Lol

They are a bit pricey, $60 for 3 people, no drinks. This is a special treat for our family at these prices. The block sauce is yummy!

Oh! The vegan nachos I hear are AMAZING, but they are only available dining in. Since I do not feel comfortable eating it, due to the lack of color amongst diners, I will never know. They seem to have a cool happy hour, too!

I do wish they had buffalo fried oyster mushrooms or Zucchini instead of cauliflower. It is such an empty and pointless vegetable. No nutrients and makes you gassy, so you're literally eating air. 🤣 Overall, check them out!

*UPDATE 9.24.24 I FINALLY had a chance to try the vegan nachos and I fully understand why they are dine-in only. The portion is shareable, if you choose to share. The chips are light and crisp. The vegan cheese sauce AMAZING! The black beans are not mushy or refried. The Pico de Gallo and jalapeño slices are fresh! The vegan nachos, without the chorizo, because it contains soy, are my #2 favorite.

As I currently enjoy my second order, they have been consistent each visit.

I have learned the fries and tots are not vegan. They do not have bottled water, only tap. They cannot blend/make crushed ice, so I ended up with a cup of ice. Holiday gas station is next door to get your own water and Cub Foods is not much further to get coconut...

So this is the worst restraint I've ever been too. Let me explain. I'm from duluth, in town to see my daughter and goto the VA for treatment. I'm ret. Military and 100 % combat veteran. There's 2 doors to enter, 1 to main restraint, 1 to the outside seating area. When we walked up the path we went to outside setting. Big sign says sit. I know it's meant for your pets ( very cool) But took it as us too. We're the paying customer. After almost 10 min. A very rude waitress came over and very loudly and very harshly told us to leave and come back threw other door. I asked why, she just kept telling us the same thing. Soon, we did it but I told the staff inside how we were treated. Young man standing there he didn't care. We were already there so we just let them repeat us. Next waitress was Awsome!!! But other waitress and another young lady were talking about us very loud and rudely and pointing at us. Other patrons saw this. So I had enough, I went inside and asked for the manager, the same young man was rude again and at first refused and told me to go sit down old man. I'm 54 not old... So eventually the manager came out.his exact words were , are you blind? There's a sign on the door that says go into the restraunt first before sitting outside. I ask where? He showed me, it's there but if your not looking for it and never seen it, you will miss it. And BTW, I do have eye sight issues, An IED exploded close to my head and I caught shrapnel in my eye. So I was embarrassed how he yelled at me and made me feel. And I do not ever get embarrassed and I have thick skin but after 3 different people there insulted me and my kids. I had enough, I asked for the check, we got 1 ice tea and 1 soda. 4.53. Awesome waitress apologized to us she heard everything and said they were totally in the wrong and the drinks were on them. Manager said no way and took my money. Ok.. I tipped the awesome waitress. And left. I am coping this post and will put it on every social media I can and will ask my friends, family, coworkers ( construction inspectors) and the many veteran groups I belong to. Final word... don't go there, there rude, mean and nasty, all but one amazing person that deserves to be the manager and fix this place. J...

This place got really busy shortly after I arrived so I would highly recommend making reservations. My party did make reservations but we weren’t given the option of dining in the patio or inside and we got seated outside. It was very hot and everyone in my group were drenched in sweat while dining. They do have 3 ceiling fans but I couldn’t feel anything until the breeze blew into the patio. Inside the restaurant has a lot of smaller tables and booths and doesn’t look like it’ll accommodate larger groups.

Make sure to check out their weekly specials before going and if you go before 6 they do have happy hour!

Special for Wednesday was the whole damn bird. I was a little skeptical when it came out as it looked like it could’ve been over cooked but to my surprise it was nice a juicy when I took my first bite! The sauce that came with it was a little on the salty side but it was still pretty good. The coleslaw that came with the bird was really good though! All the burgers and sandwiches comes with chips or coleslaw and if you want to substitute for fries there is an additional charge. When I browsed the menu online I really wanted to try the French onion soup but being seated out in the patio made me change my mind real quick! Hopefully I’ll make my way around that area again so I can try the soup.

Our server was great and very friendly. She did check on our table often to make sure we’re good even though the patio was full of people.

Their parking lot is VERY small but there are additional parking spots in the lot across the street. Just be careful when crossing because car didn’t seem to like to stop for pedestrians. Otherwise there are street...

We embarked on an exhilarating trip to reunite with our friends at the block, and let me tell you, it felt like visiting a hidden gem I hadn’t explored in ages! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the pet-friendly patio was buzzing with happy tails and laughter, creating the perfect backdrop for a great evening. Now, let’s talk about the drinks, those slushies are nothing short of legendary! Don’t let their colorful, appealing appearance fool you; these icy delights pack a serious punch with their delightful blend of flavors and a robust kick of alcohol that’ll have you coming back for more! And oh, the food! The truffle fries were a heavenly experience, bursting with rich truffle flavor and perfectly seasoned, no overwhelming saltiness here! Every bite was pure bliss. The mac and cheese was luxuriously creamy, a comfort food dream come true, while the chicken was seasoned to perfection, leaving you craving another bite. Each dish was an invitation to indulge and enjoy, making the outing nothing short of unforgettable! The service was fantastic considering how busy they were. The location has a good casual vibe but the only 1 flaw is its small parking lot but they do have street parking.
