Wonderful first visit to Casali’s Grille! We were looking for nearby restaurants when coming to the Benezette area, and we found a winner here in St. Mary’s. Our server was spot on with service! We found out she had been on the floor only a week and previous experience was working at a sub shop. It was obvious she received some quality training at Casali’s. The food was very nice. Presentation, Flavor and quality was evident in every course. We definitely are coming back! Update 2022: We have been back and our last visit was as good as before. Looking forward to our next! Update 6/ 14/ 2023.: Our recent visit had some issues. We arrived around 5 pm not very busy and were seated almost immediately. The host who sat us also took our order. It seemed to suddenly get very busy with a couple parties of 6- 8 people and tables were filling up. The host and It may have been the bartender were the only ones waiting tables. At that point service was under pressure and it appeared the 2 people taking orders were in the weeds. In spite of all this, we could see the host/ server and bartender/ server were working through it. When we were ready to go, to their credit We got our check quicker than I thought, due to both server’s being observant. We will return based on our previous visits and watching the 2 servers doing a great job getting through the restaurant becoming...
Read moreI spent 3 nights in St Mary’s for business; Tues, Wed and Thur.
After work I walked from the Cobblestone Hotel to Casali’s Grill. Arriving around 7:30. They serve meals up until 8:30 on those nights, not sure about other nights. I liked that the dinner crowd was thinned out by then. Sitting at the bar worked fine for me. I could just relax, chill out and unwind after a long day at work. Could not ask for better staff behind the bar and all around, feels like a close bunch. Sara an Lynn work like they are part owners. They really put their heart and souls into the place. Even do some painting. Not too bad actually. The real owner was there and was telling how he just partnered with a local brewing Co. and is making some major changes to the place. I hope it works out. Food selection was good. It was ready pretty quick, big portions more than filled me up. I was only there those few short hrs each night but feel like it was longer. Thanks for making me feel at home even those I was out of town.

Read moreI don't know what is happening over there, but after Jeff left they seem to achieve a new low every time. The food and drinks have gone downhill. The servers and bartenders are not trained properly, and now they have to dance around what the kitchen says they can it cannot prepare based upon some imaginary idea of how to manage inventory. If the kitchen staff can't fulfill simple requests based on ingredients and portions already In-house, you have a BOH problem, and it's not the FOH that should have to deal with disenfranchisement reduced tips because BOH can't run things properly. This place is incredibly overpriced for Sysco reheated food and mediocre service. Good luck with whatever new direction you're heading toward. The new menus made of recycled sled material should help you...
