just got new owners, an they have re-vamped this place. 2022 updates It’s amazing how a bunch of 55-65’flat screen tv’s can change the whole bar! See my pictures, ***This is the place to meet the buddy's an start going out for game day! ***Totally worth a visit if you been here before, go compare bet you’ll find a great place to hangout and enjoy a beer with friends. I don’t drink anymore but I’d stay for a soda or two! I’m going to highly recommend that you go see for yourself and don’t drink an drive ok. Soon their intentions are to be having a food truck out back and everything! I’m sure going to check that out myself,hope some of you do to. Next time I’m that way I hope to see a full parking lot! Go support the newest local business and get a beer! Small east side business that’s always been around now fully updated, renamed, an ready for you to make it your new hangout ,at chances tavern a new hidden treasure on east side of SaintPaul’s**Payne*avenue*historic porky’s now called *chance’s tavern* I’m highly recommend to see for yourself!

We were pleasantly surprised by how great the "Bar" food is. It's not your average bar food at all. My husband had the cheese steak and I had a massive chili dog. ( I needed to use a fork and knife-dont judge me) with their herb potato salad that was delicious! The owner was working and chatted with us a bit, he was super nice! The space itself is really nice. I was expecting a dingy establishment and it couldn't be further from the truth. Worth checking out! Lots of TVs to watch sports. Can't wait for football season!

An absolute vibe!! Easily turned into our favorite bar. The location is very convenient, the service is fast, the drinks are great. Music is always playing and pull tabs are always stocked. Aaron and Scott were fantastic for my birthday weekend, serving 14+ people timely while keeping up with everyone else! 10/10 my friends and I visit often and I look forward to making new memories here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible establishment, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was hands-down the tastiest in town, yum-yum chicken sandwich yummy, and what truly impressed me was the exceptional service and honesty.

Our server demonstrated remarkable honesty when I accidentally left my purse behind. He went out of his way to try and catch up with us to return it, and when that wasn't possible, I felt confident that it would be safe until I could return to collect it.
