Chi-Town Grill & Grocery — Restaurant in Saint Paul

Yes please!!! I was craving some down and dirty Chicago style hotdog and fries. I see this place as I was headed home from work and made a quick highly non traditional scotch over to hop into the parking lot... let me tell you. I was overwhelmed with all the yumminess and the fun conversation and people watching. It took me 15 minutes to make my selection even having conversation with all the locals. From gansta nachos, hot dogs, fried “scrimp”, and wings. No to mention the abundance of lemon pepper seasoning they will indulge to your level of personal preference just before serving. I’m telling you sooo good/bad. I saved it as a favorite for those off days that I just need a little bit of food for my tongue and not my body!! Oh yea. Great prices... who includes a drink and fries with your “scrimps” for under $6. They do!!...

There is this old man there that is apparently the owner/manager. His name is Frank, and Frank likes to judge his customers (preferably young african american males) stereotypically. He honestly needs to cut that out. The fries there (that I ordered) were dark, hard and cold, which honestly tells me that their uncooked. I personally think that their policy on not giving refunds on uncooked food is absurd and preposterous. Frank obviously needs to abandon that policy, hire new cooks, fire the old ones, and clean his fast food and kitchen appliances. Use to like this place in 2013 but this place is done for nothing is ever right. Food is disgusting. I tried to give them another chance a few weeks ago all I ordered were fries and they were hard and dark like they were retried. I asked for my money they point to a sign that says they don't give money back or take back food (even if they mess it up) I'm sorry but a place that won't give money or exchange food when they are wrong is a place I will stay far from. Glad it was only a few bucks. I guess the other folks eating taste buds are shot!! Any who to each its own just remember...
