I actually moved this way from California and I had actually no one to do my hair out here. I found the first location through a google search and the young lady in the Minneapolis location was super awesome. It actually made me want to come back. Which I did and the second time wasn't so pleasant in the Minneapolis location. I set an appointment because I don't live in the city so when I come up its usually to get my hair done and run errands. Although this time they had double booked me with a young lady getting braiding extensions, therefore I had to wait. Plus I had to ask if I can just go to someone else since she was obviously not going to be done anytime soon. The Receptionist agreed and the young lady that did my hair kept taking breaks although she knew I was already waiting plus I had my 10 year old child with me so the sooner the better. I did not leave out of there for at least 4 to 5 hours. I tried to give them a second chance and try out the St.Paul location. This time I had my 10 year old get her hair done. I also set an appointment because I don't live in the city. Long story short appointment time was 1 pm, I ran a bit late and got there about 1 :15. The young lady that was scheduled to do my daughters hair had like 4 heads ahead of my daughters which meant we didn't leave there until 6 pm literally. They started to put condition in her hair about 2 pm and then had her basically sitting around the shop with conditioner in her hair looking like who done it and what for. By the time she got to my daughters hair it was completely dry. Not to mention they charged me $50.00 for a little girls head when usually I only pay about $30.00 to 35.00 with trim. Her hair was so pretty afterward I will say but it wasn't worth that or a tip(Which I did not provide) Unfortunately these incidents turned me off from these stylist. Now back...
Read moreSo I went and got a closure sew in on June 19th, it’s was a Friday. Mind you it was the day of my party I’ve been sent off about my hair by multiple people. I finally go to the shop at 2:20pm. She starts braiding my hair everything. Seemed fine. The other girl died my closure and dyed some of the hair also then says to the lady doing my hair “you not going to be able to see it anyway”. I was already frustrated I just blew it off because at this point I’m ready to just get my hair done and start my party. Btw the lady that dyed my closure sewed it in, but cut the thick lace part that holds on the the thread so it won’t rip my closure. Also she had to redo it. As The other girl start sewing my hair she starts cutting my tracks, which I paid 325$ for so I asked her not to do that and to sew it back and forth. When she finished she glued my closure down and everything I looked in the mirror and wanted to cry. My hair looked like a thick wig. I didn’t have a part and my lace wasn’t even dyed correctly. I paid 100$ for something I could’ve had a 11 year old do. I was so annoyed I just left I didn’t want her to do anything else because here it is now 6pm and I’m still in the shop and my party starts at 6:30pm. So I go to the car my mom is mad cause she sees my hair but I’m telling her just go because I’m wasting time. I get to the party my hair is already lifting I had to put makeup on my lace and glue it back down on my own. The next day my track is loose and is falling off. I’m also curling my hair And I see big gaps in my hair . There’s lumps everywhere it’s not flat at all. My sister even got a ponytail. They didn’t have the correct products or anything. Her ponytail was messing up before we even started to party. The next morning she redid her whole ponytail that she just paid 55$ for the day before. I will never ever ever...
Read moreI really wanted to give a great review, I really did. I gave the place a chance and ignored the negative reviews. I thought Brianna was very friendly and she was very nice during scheduling. My hair was done by Amani. She did an OK job, with my lace frontal...it looked decent. I got home and noticed the lace didn't blend in quite as naturally as I've seen others. Not too big of a deal. Anyway, not 2 days later and it's all coming apart in the front. During install there was issues with glue coming out of the container so maybe there wasn't enough glue or I don't know. Anyway, I texted and asked her to fix it and was surprised to be told I'd pay an extra $35. Less than a week... This is day 4 of a $170 lace frontal sew in. Obviously I am not a happy camper and I had to put this here. There were a few other things I wasn't too pleased with but I thought both AMani and Brianna who were at the shop were nice (and they are) and everyone needs to make a living so I wasn't going to be nit-picky. However the double charge on failing work so fresh is unprofessional and they have just lost a business that was so open to promoting them and sending as many...
