I placed an order online one night approximately one hour before closing time. Some 25 minutes later my pizza tracker showed my order was delivered, yet I hadn't seen a driver come by in that time. I gave it another 20ish minutes just be sure before calling. I was on hold for about 5 minutes before someone was able to answer my call. When I asked about my order I was told it was cancelled, that they were too busy to take any orders, and that they only had 2 employees working. At this point I was a little upset due to the fact I just waited almost an hour for my order only to find out it was cancelled without any notification of a store employee cancelling it. I rather nicely (though a bit upset) told the employee a phone call or email or some sort of notification that my order was cancelled would have been nice (it was now too late to place an order at any other locations as it was now 5 minutes to closing time). When I mentioned it would've been nice to know my order was cancelled I was thrown a world of excuses. I was upset but tried to remain fairly polite as I used to work in a pizza shop so I understand fully what it's like to be understaffed and overwhelmed by orders, but we ALWAYS made sure to call a customer back if their order was going to be later than they were told and generally sent a gift certificate with their delayed order. At this point the person just flat out hung up on me which was VERY unprofessional.
I called the next day (today) and spoke with a manager and explained my very poor experience from the night before. She apologized, was very polite, and had no problem taking all my information down to address the problem as well as mentioned I wasn't the only one who had called today. Originally I would've given 0 out of 5 stars, but because the manager took the time to speak with me on the phone, apply a credit to my account, and work through the issue with me/file a report to take action accordingly, I am giving them a fair rating still. Customer service goes a long ways to someone like me and I can appreciate when a business or manager can own up to the company's mistakes and address them without any further problems/argument. So although I'm still not happy about the cancelled order and the poor professionalism, I appreciate the person I spoke with today making it right. THANK YOU for realizing that EVERY customer is important to the success of a business and making sure you didn't just ignore a problem that otherwise would've made me never come back. I will give them a try again due to their willingness to work with me on the issue.
Perhaps Domino's HQ and their programmers/IT dept. could find a way to make sure their online system notifies a customer by email or text in the event their order is cancelled or delayed excessively. The fact that the online system clearly knew my order had been cancelled but didn't automatically notify me is Domino's fault and not this location's.
Thanks again for making it right and I hope we are able to have much better experiences in the...
Read moreI've been ordering from this Domino's for over 10 years. I'll never order from them again now thanks to the rudeness of the supervisor Jessica.
Last week I order two large pizzas with double the cheese and a few toppings (online)and I always call in to tell them to make sure they don't forget to put the double cheese on it. I get my pizzas and one of my pizzas is literally raw, I had to put it in the oven and cook it. The other one had ZERO cheese.
So I called in and a young lady named kesley told me she would credit my account $35 so I could call back and just get my replacement pizzas😍
So I called in today to redeem my credit and I get told that there is no credit on my account so I asked to speak with the supervisor he said she doesn't get in until 5:30 pm.
I called back at 5:30pm. I asked for the supervisor, named Jessica, this girl has absolutely no manners and needs to be fired. I tell her about the situation and that I would like my account to be credited she's like no.
I'm like give me my money back or give me the credit! and she was like what's your order number? I ask her again, so are you giving me my money or the credit? She's like I'm giving you your money back!!
I'm like okay well I just wanted my credit but cool whatever. so I started looking up my order number (luckily I order online or else I wouldn't have the the order number.) I feel like the girl thought I was lying about the whole situation until I was about to give her my order number, because then she switched up and was like you know what nevermind I'll give you the credit, I said, f* that just give me my damn money back. You put me through all this hell skip that credit I'm never ordering from you guys again.
The smart way to handle a situation like that would have been to call kesley and see if she had ever had a conversation like that before with a customer not just assume that...
Read moreWe called the location on Snelling since our last couple orders with this location on Grand got messed up. We place a delivery order with Snelling and unknown to us it gets sent to this store. We figure whatever, they're already making it and since I apparently can no longer order delivery from the Snelling location even though I'm less than a mile away. Honestly it's ridiculous that I can no longer order from my preferred location when just a couple months ago I could order from either-or, who could've thought this arbitrary rule would please any customer whatsoever is beyond me.
So we placed the order at 7pm and we're quoted 45-60min, perfect! At 7:47 it's taken out of the oven according to the tracker, awesome, should be on the way soon! Nope. Doesn't go out for delivery until a little after 8:30 and shows up just past 9:00. At this point I call the store and coincidentally the driver shows up. She's polite and all that, if not pretty late, it's been a half hour and I'm half a mile away from this location. Exchange pizza for money, she drives off, I open the pizza, none of my dipping sauces are in there.
We tried calling to get them to send us just some dipping sauces. I don't need any money back, or any coupons, I just want some sauce so I can eat half the meal I ordered. Sit on hold for over ten minutes before I just give up. The delivery is making me never order from this store again. The ridiculous decision to make it so you can't get delivery from a store one fifth of a mile further than another is making me never order dominos...
