I met a friend here for lunch today because we heard that this was a black owned business and we wanted to support it. I ordered a 2 egg omelette with sausage, tomato and spinach with hash browns and a side of wheat toast along with a small mocha for which i was charged $20.72. Now I didnt think about what i was charged because its a small business and I wanted to support local businesses.
What came out of the kitchen was at the least, very disappointing. I've made a 1000 omelettes in my life and what I got looked like maybe a single egg omelette, stretched out with milk or water, with a sprinkling of spinach and maybe an ounce of chopped tomato and essentially one sausage links worth of sausage and i could barely find any cheese in the omelette at all. The hashbrowns were under cooked and didnt seem to be the proper type of potatoes for hashbrowns. The toast that came out was white, cold and unbuttered. In fact, the entire meal was cold when it came to the table. The woman that brought my food didnt tell me where to find utensils or condiments and didnt ask if I needed any. The only bright part of my meal was the mocha which was made well and was hot when it came to me.
