I never write reviews but they messed up my food so many times and they didn’t even end up making it right that I had to. I ordered a torta and asked if they could not add onions, jalapeños, and tomatoes and if they could put the avocado on the side. I repeated the order a few times to make sure. Everything was fine until I got my food, the first thing I see when i open my torta is everything I asked them not to add. Our server seemed new and I’m a server myself so I understand it can be nerve wracking and mistakes happen. It wasn’t a big deal I just let the server know that it was made wrong. They took my food to the back and just removed the jalapeños but left everything else I didn’t want. At that point i was a bit annoyed since I did repeat the order but again not a big deal, I just go up to the front and let them know it was still made wrong without making a big fuss. Our server was standing with who i’m assuming is a manager and I let them know it was still made wrong and the manager says “we already set the food down” in spanish seeming visibly annoyed. like okay? What does that have to do with my order still being made wrong even though I repeated the order multiple times. I let them know that I did ask them to not add any of those items since the beginning and i repeat the order again. I got my food again and they still added the avocados inside. At that point I just gave up and ate however they made it. I understand mistakes happen but it just gets to a point. Messing up 3 times and still not getting it right? Never had a problem ordering food from this location before not sure why that was a...
Read moreI wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant and my girlfriend raved about this place so we went here. After reviewing the menu, I decided on Coctel De Camaron with extra white rice. When it came, it was a shrimp cocktail in a huge margarita glass. I thought it was a shrimp stew that I could eat with white rice. This was not what I would've ordered if I had known it was an $18.49 shrimp cocktail as an entree. The manager did not budge. He said we should've asked more questions and we should've known it was a shrimp cocktail. When I explained I thought it was a stew, he said then it would've been in the soup section. He kept asking if I wanted to just try the cocktail, even after I refused 3x knowing I wouldn't be full from it. He also said more than 2x that we should've known how to read Spanish or asked more questions instead of just ordering. He refused to give me a refund and I left on an empty stomach.
$18.49 tip for the manager: be more understanding and have more patience with people who are not familiar w the cuisine and know they may make a mistake and misread the menu, and it's okay to take it back and give them a refund, which will in turn most likely encourage them to try something else instead of never going back solely because of this one experience.
The server was amazing.
Don't come here unless you can read Spanish and know every item on the menu because if you dont like what you ordered, they will not take it back happily and will...
