I’ve been searching for places that accommodate for gluten free diets in the area and stumbled upon Red Rabbit. I decided to come here because it’s really hard to find authentic Italian that has gluten free options- they had quite a few! For pasta I had the gluten free Cavatelli- it was delicious, perfectly seasoned and slightly indulgent, nicely portioned. But the really impressive thing to me was the service. The gluten free noodles took a little longer than normal ones- and either a manager or an owner checked in with me a few times to let me know that it was taking a bit because they wanted to assure that it was gluten free, and when it was ready she delivered it to me! I had ordered pizza for an appetizer and a few minutes after placing said order, I realized I had forgotten to tell our lovely waitress that I needed it gluten free. I was able to flag down a different manager or the owner who was walking around getting drinks for people, and told him about my mistake- I felt terrible! Fortunately they were able to save it, bless their hearts, and the chef who made it came out and hand delivered it to me, saying it was specially made gluten free just for me. And it was DELICIOUS. I got a half mushroom, half sausage for my partner. The mushroom pizza was legitimately the best pizza I have ever had- the garlic cream sauce and the dollops of chèvre, was beyond perfection. Everything was just fantastic. My waitress was Sophia C, she was very personable and attentive. I’d also just like to commend the chef who came out, I didn’t grab his name but he was a redhead/strawberry blonde with a beard, and the two mangers/owners who really cared about the experience. I felt very comfortable eating here, and very taken care of by the staff; they really seemed like they respected my dietary restrictions and keeping me safe, being that I am gluten free and will get sick if I eat it (which I didn’t after I ate here). Highly recommend, whether you’re gluten free or not!

I have been to the North Loop establishment many times for dinner and since they share the same menu, I decided to try some new items this time. The Saint Paul location is just as good, and seems to be less crowded as well, which made it easier for me to enjoy my first brunch experience in Red Rabbit! Of course, their pasta is their staple food, but other kinds are great as well! The monkey bread had just the right amount of sweetness and the caramel was just the cherry on top, and the only disadvantage was that it was not soft enough, especially the crust, which was hard. My friend ordered the burrata. She loved it so much that she ordered another one. I had the family's favorite pizza as well, per my server's recommendation. Initially I wanted to get the Margherita pizza and I should have sticked to it. But I want to make it clear that it was not because family's favorite pizza itself was bad. I am just not a pepperoni pizza person, but rather a marinara or Margherita person when it comes to pizza. The family's favorite pizza had great ingredients, from the house sausage to the green olives, and I could definitely see how many Americans could love it. It was a classic American pizza. But next time I will get Margherita, the classic Italian pizza, instead. The avocado toast is amazing, with a good amount of eggs and avocado. It was much larger than I expected, too, which was a plus. The Italian grinder sandwich was spicy for me and very flavorful. Finally, I have written this for the North Loop location before, but the sticky toffee cake is one of my favorite desserts, if not my favorite dessert, from anywhere in the Twin Cities, so whenever I visit Red Rabbit, that one is just a must have! Overall, the Saint Paul location is a hit as well, and because it seems to be less crowded, people will have a great time here without worrying about waiting for too long, at least for Saturday brunches!

Looked for a place to eat and chill after a concert, I decided on this place based on my craving for Italian cuisine, the menu looked amazing, and the reviews looked promising. First time ever at this restaurant and I'm glad we picked Red Rabbit for dinner! We arrived on a cold icy Saturday around 830pm (a few weeks ago), and the space was packed! Ambiance was bustling with music, dim lighting, the smell of bread, bottles clinking together and all-around laughter. I'm glad we got a booth in a short amount of time from the host and were greeted right away by the server. We were a party of five and ordered the pizza rolls, garlic bread cheese curds (recommend), fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken, lasagna, house sausage pizza, mushroom pizza (recommend), salmon, cauliflower black butter soup (recommend), short rib, a dessert I don't recall, and many drinks! Food arrived quickly, which was great because we were starving! Flavors were excellent, portions were huge to share, ambiance and service were great and the night was awesome. The manager greeted every table along with ours and I appreciate that touch of hospitality (as a previous event manager myself), so thank you GM! Our server (I don't recall their name) was excellent, checking on us with refills/taking our plates as we finished to make room, and they had a good sense of humor. They were amazed that we finished all the food and drinks. Yes, we finished everything. For those not familiar with the area, you will have to look for street or neighborhood parking. All the street parking was either taken or not plowed well by the city when we were there during a cold snowy evening, so we opted to park a few blocks down and walked to the space. Highly recommend. Happy eating.

My friend and I went to Red Rabbit after our shift tonight and had an absolutely fantastic time. Our server Logan was so kind and fun, she gave us great recommendations for our entrees and took care of us so, so well. We will definitely be coming back with our other friend as soon as we can! (I have to try the shrimp garganelli next time) We got the burrata and glazed carrots as appetizers (both are AMAZING, the basil pesto on the burrata is probably the best pesto I've had, and the goat cheese that the glazed carrots sit in is like heaven (cue The Cure)). I got an N/A Old Fashioned which was quite sweet but very, very good, and my friend got a Hayman's Tom Cat Sazerac which was also very good (according to them). For dinner I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup at Logan's suggestion, and let me tell you: top five grilled cheese ever. The tomato soup that it comes with is on par with the Cheese Shop's tomato soup that you get with their hot sandwiches. 20/10, thick and spiced and amazing. My friend got the mushroom pizza with grilled chicken on top and that was also very good (I don't like mushrooms but the bite I tried was yummy). For dessert, we got the zeppolis and holy cow, they were so good. Very similar to beignets in texture and taste, but without the honey drizzle on top - comes with nutella and raspberry preserves to dip them in, they're so light and airy. Thank you again for serving us Logan! You were so, so amazing and I can't wait to come back and see you all again. :] (I hope you had a great rest of your night) (I only remembered to take pictures of my drink and the dessert because everything was so good 😔 next time there will be more!)

With all the trendy restaurants popping up around the cities, sometimes all you want is a classic & simple meal, & that’s what you’re gonna get at Red Rabbit. We dined on the patio for mother’s day. Patio vibes were great on such a warm day, and the big fireplace blocked the wind which I appreciated. Unfortunately, service was very slow. Took around 15-20 for the waitress to check back after delivering our drinks. She also forgot to put in one of our orders, but completely owned it and apologized, so this wasn’t a problem at all, it was a busy night! Garlic Bread Cheese Curds - 10/10. these cannot be skipped. Burrata: grilled foccacia was perfectly cooked. very delicious. Pesto add Shrimp: my favorite out of everything! rigatoni & shrimp were cooked perfectly and the pesto was perfect, just the right amount of saltiness. Fettuccine add Chicken: I don’t even like fettuccine alfredo all that much but I tried a few bites and was thoroughly impressed. Cavatelli: I think it’s pretty good. It’s definitely less sauce forward & the italian sausage has just a slight kick. Good but my least favorite pasta of the three. Spicy Salami Pizza: honestly the pizza fell short for me. It was good. The crust was the best part and cooked perfectly. It needed more cheese and the sauce was just kinda bland. Only really had flavor when you got a bite with the salami & hot honey. Beets: the beet lover of the family loved these!! Very delicious & happy we stopped in!

This place could be a five depending on the dishes you order, but the short rib I had was under par. The service is great and most dishes I’ve tried are really tasty. Along with the friendly people, I enjoy the atmosphere, location, and the prices are fair I ordered both the wood fired oysters ($20) and the raw oysters (4 for $10 during happy hour), and I enjoyed these thoroughly. The wood fired ones atop of the bread slices were packed with flavor and quite rich The short rib was not super flavorful nor was it particularly tender; spending $32 on it was not a good idea. The polenta had a nice texture and I enjoyed eating it with the short rib. The dish was not bad, but I wouldn’t ever spend $32 on it again Sticky toffee pudding from Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants is my favorite dessert of all time. Red Rabbit’s toffee cake is the closest thing I can find to it here in Minneapolis, and it is very good. I assume the whipped cream is homemade, as it’s a little bit on the sour side which I found odd and would prefer to substitute it for a scoop of ice cream. It normally comes with orange zest but I tend to stray away from it Much like red cow, this is a restaurant that I look forward to bringing people to and will continue to support as long as I live in the north loop! Everything pictured here was $100 including tip, but I spent a lot more than one would need to
