I’ve lived in the area for almost a year and finally decided to give this place a try. While the food was good, the prices didn’t feel justified for the area. When I hesitated before ordering and kept asking about portion sizes, the staff member mentioned that the higher prices help support staff benefits—which I fully support—but the portions need to reflect that as well. I ordered the short ribs, opting for the “small” portion at $18+ tax. The ribs had good flavor, but the texture was inconsistent—some pieces were fatty and chewy, while others were tough. I felt like I was tearing through jerky just to get the meat off. The sticky rice was congealed and tasted old. The egg rolls were solid, but at $10+ tax for two, they felt overpriced. I also got spring rolls for my grandma, which came to $14 for two. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the pricing is more in line with a sit-down restaurant, despite the space being primarily for takeout. To stay competitive, they need to adjust their portion sizes. This place is definitely more of an occasional splurge than an everyday spot.

Soul Lao! The food was really good. I had seen from other reviews that this place was more of take out place so I ordered it online to pick up. When I received the text that my order was ready (at most 20 minute wait) I went to pick it up. The atmosphere inside is very clean with natural lighting. To my surprise there looked like lots of places to sit but I didn’t see anyone with food at their seating areas. So, I’m unsure if people do just end up eating their food there just in a take out box but perhaps I’ll learn that the next time I go. I took my food home to share with one person and we had food left over for dinner for the both of us. We ordered the 1 pork khao, 1 chicken khao, 1 mango sticky rice, and an order of sai oua rolls (2/order). The food was delicious. The chicken was crispy, the Laotian sausage in the sai oua rolls were spicy, etc. I only have good things to say. The price of the food (with gratuity included in their menu prices) ended up being 79 dollars. For two people with extra food for dinner later I’d say give them a try.

I had a bestie lunch date with my friend yesterday & I can say, their food was really good. We had the Nam Kow & that was really good.. I do wish they gave you more lime and lettuce & you also get to choose your spice level. We had the egg rolls and the Wonton dip. It was Wonton chips and dipped it in the cream cheese dip. I was a little sad they were out of stock with the burger but I will definitely be back to try it. Did try the famous wings and they’re pretty good also. The only down fall I would say about this place is that, I asked them what were the glazed on the chicken.. They said it was fish sauce. They said a lot of their food has fish sauce in it. As I was looking on their menu to see if they had it on their menu stating that their chicken was cooked in fish sauce. It wasn’t on there. My daughter had allergies to fish, so I can only imagine bringing home some chicken & gave that to my daughter. I would’ve put her in a DANGEROUS ALLERGIC REACTION not knowing the wings were cooked in fish sauce. I say the only thing they need to do is update their menu & put down if there is EGGS, PEANUTS , FISH in the dish cus you HAVE to be mindful with people with Allergy to foods. Overall, this is a great place & would...

Came on an early Sunday evening about 4pm with no expectations. Strip mall parking lot was busy with only a few spots.

Ordered the roast pork, beef laab, garlic noodle with chicken, and chicken wings for my husband, teenage son, and I. Total came to $114.

Chicken wings: 6 Crispy, sweet, and tangy. Will definitely be getting again!!!

Roast Pork: Very Crispy, tender, and juicy. Portion was good. Pork isn’t my go to meat but I LOVED it!

Beef Laab: Very flavorful, a little heavy on the fish sauce. I did enjoy it.

Garlic noodles: Doesn’t look like much but don’t be fooled. Pack with balanced flavors. I opted to get chicken added on and it did not disappoint.

Opted to eat in, very cozy and casual seating with self service tap water, paper plates, napkin, and plastic utensils.

Not sure what kind of portion other reviewers are expecting, but we were full and had some left over to take home. Maybe some people just expect all Asian restaurants to have Chinese family size servings.

Overall I enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back. Price is nothing to complain about from my perspective. I’d rather pay higher prices for something I enjoy, than pay less for mediocre and...

Disappointing is an understatement. We came for the burger, admittedly later than we anticipated, but at 7pm and sold out on a busy Friday night is interesting. We opted to get the 3 apps we had our eyes on, wings, crab rations and spring rolls. Agreed to come back for chicken sandwich and burger another day. Well $50 later and we are starving after ordering 3 apps. We thought it would be enough to at least tie us over until we could get home and eat a proper dinner. Nope, we’re still starving.

Wings- flavorless and dry. We couldn’t even point out one flavor listed on the menu because there wasn’t any. Crab rangoons- was not clear that it’s literally deconstructed and it comes served as chips and dip. Interesting concept. Not our favorite. Odd flavors overall. Spring rolls. These were really enjoyed, flavor wise. The sauce was very tasty too. Execution wasn’t great unfortunately. Everything fell out of the bottom. They are going for the looks rather than practicality.

Decided for the $$ not worth a second visit to come back and try the things we actually wanted. Very...
