My husband and I goes to this diner for years every weekend. He always order the Papa Johns and I order Cousin Jeffs. Couple of months ago, this diner had an upgrade and with under new management the place changed. New decor, new interior look and its good. But the change was not for the better. At the first weekend after the new management, the food took so long, almost 1 hour and a half. It was understandable because of the adjustment. Every weekend we still go and have our breakfast and it gets worse everytime. Today, might be our last visit to this diner. My food was swimming in oil and grease and I can’t even eat half of it. I was draining it out of my plate to a napkin trying to eat breakfast. The cook has definitely changed and can’t keep up with the fast pace of this diner. It was quiet as hell. The bar side is empty, there were vacant tables where it usually is overflowing with a long line waiting. Cindy was not there to greet everybody, We no longer see Ashley and Stacey who were so exceptionally wonderful, no offense to the new servers , they did good too but I feel like the management is not seeing that the long time regulars are not coming in anymore. The old servers are not around, the old time regulars which we got to know and familiar seeing with every weekend are not coming anymore and the food is bad. I hope this business will pick up for the better or will go back to how it usually work.

Had a typical eggs, sausage, hash browns, and toast meal for breakfast. The sausage was almost burnt, but edible, the hash browns and eggs we're fine but the toast was another story. I had to remind my server about the missing toast even though she had asked me what kind of bread I wanted, then she finally brought it to me without asking if I would've liked some jelly to go with it. Another server actually brought it to my table. Refills on my ice tea were few and far between. The one unpleasant aspect was the fact that two of the servers had extremely long hair that would away every which way when they were scurrying between the tables. I don't know if that is an acceptable sit-down Restuarant policy in most of the other establishments I eat at but it should not be allowed. Overall the atmosphere was very pleasent with a lot of memorabilia on the walls and most of the other customers seemed to be enjoying themselves but to me it was fairly obvious that the servers lacked any practical experience waiting on tables in a public food providing business.

Looked for a local diner and found this place and gave it a whirl. I was seated promptly, very friend folks here. They had sweet tea to my surprise and kept my glass full. The tea had a rich tea flavor and was not weak. I decided to order breakfast instead of lunch and was allowed to build my own omelet, pretty cool, pricey, but I got exactly what I wanted.I ordered hashbrowns with onions and butter toast. This order came out so fast it was mind boggling, I was taken back. The omelet was large and everything had a decent taste to it. I was given a choice of white or wheat bread, buttered or unbuttered. Great little place to eat with a little better than average diner food. My ticket was brought and the waitress came back and paid the ticket without having to leave the table, kinda nice. Definitely going to give this place a try for lunch. 2 thumbs up so far.

Amazing Food! Excellent Customer Service!! Great Location!!! I recently went with a small group to Main Street Diner's Jamaican Night held on Fridays between 5 - 9 pm. My group ordered a variety of Jamaican dishes and I can tell you everyone loved the food!! We had Jerk Chicken, Oxtails, and Curry Goat with Cabbage and Rice and Beans as sides. All the meats were incredibly tender, flavorful and juicy; the Rice and Beans were cooked to perfection and the Cabbage was incredibly delicious. One of the ladies stated that the Cabbage tasted just like her mom's Cabbage (what a compliment!)

The service was great!! Our server was very kind and patient with us as it took us a while to get our order going. Even the management came to our table and greeted us. They were so personable and friendly! We even did a small tour of the restaurant inside and out. The inside front is very cozy and comfortable - perfect for breakfast! The inside back can host a medium size party. The outdoor back is really cool! It has an intimate patio setting and a spacious lot that can easily accommodate large groups. Our group is looking forward to hanging out there in the warmer weather.

Overall, we all gave this place FIVE STARS! Although we live in a neighboring State, we all agreed to come back (with more people) and try their Breakfast options and, of course, for another Jamaican Night feast! Very impressive restaurant, food, and staff! We all...

This was my 1st time eating here. Ill go again just to see if they can do better given the circumstances. So this review will be lengthy but fair. Ill start with the pros and then, evaluate the cons.

Pros: Friendly servers Food was cooked quick Conveniently located next to highway 70 for easy access Followed social distancing guidelines Fair prices Well lit - not too dark, not too bright. Handicapped parking available Ham was great

Cons: Witnessed the cook touch his mask with his gloves then cook with the same gloves. (I get it, probably a habit and don't think much of it, but very unsanitary) Felt rushed (im a slow eater due to having false teeth and was asked if i needed a box 5 minutes into my meal... Maybe she's just overly friendly im not sure). I saw sanitizer and a towel but only one towel. Floors needed to be swept Decor was tacky/needs to be remodeled/falling apart. (Overheard another table saying the exact same thing) I asked for scrambled well eggs and got a well done omelette. (Not scrambled, just folded over) Small parking lot/hard to get in and out (could only imagine a weekend).

Overall I'd give this place a 2 and a half stars, 3 because my server worked her butt off as the only server there. I will go back just to try it a 2nd time and see if they just had a bad day. Recommend everyone to give it a try at least once. Seems like good people. You can also have bloody marys early in the...
