After spending about $7K on a bed about 6-7 years ago I feel compelled to leave a review of my experience over that time. Over time, on my side of the bed my mattress slopes so that when I get close to the edge I feel as I might roll off, I have tuck a pillow under my right side to prevent this. Since this is a split top bed, you have to buy special sheets sets to fit it from Sleep Number, and so far, every set we have purchased tears on the bottom. At $300-$400 a set any normal person would expect much better quality. I have never rips a sheet set in my life. All of theirs have torn. I will never give Sleep Number any consideration for my future needs. Both the company and the product are not the quality you might think they are.
Update: After leaving this review, Sleep number responded by telling me I should call their customer service number to get my issues resolved. What they don't know is that I already did that prior to leaving the review, in an effort to give them the opportunity to take care of the issue responsibly. After speaking to a CSR on 1-26, she promised me a phone call at 9am on 1-27. 1-27 came and went without a call, so did 1-28 and on 1-29 they left a voicemail stating that they are declining any assistance with my concerns. Read moreOrdered our bed on May second. Set up delivery for May 29th. Made a deal to sell our old bed a few days later with the understanding that they could pick it up the morning of the 29th. Received a text and email on Thursday the 27th stating that the bed would be delivered on the 29th between 10am and 1pm. I called to confirm with the people buying our bed the date and time to pick it up. On the morning of the 29th our bed was sold and picked up. Two hours later at 8am, 2 hrs before delivery of our sleep number bed, we got a call telling us they lost our bed and would need to reschedule. The earliest date would be June 29th. We have been left sleeping on the floor. I have called and left many messages with sleep number executive’s, but no response. I have looked around on Facebook and found many others in this situation. Well I guess I would be too if I was selling you a ten thousand dollar bed. We had it under a month and they were already replacing parts We just replaced parts on what is now a 2 year old bed but no worries right the store pushed and pushed that it had a 25 year warranty.! WRONG! We were literally about a week or two past our two year point and and wound up paying some pretty substantial money to replace parts. HUNDREDS!!! What they fail to tell you is after two years it drops to 72 percent coverage and continues to drop 4% a year after that. Do not trust this store or anything that this store tells you. We have hated this bed for awhile now , it literally feels NOTHING like the bed you test at the the store among many other reasons so to us this warranty was just the icing...
