I originally gave pirrone's pizzeria a five-star on all categories, but it has changed. We went into pirrone's pizzeria on Sunday December 22nd for my sister's birthday. We got there right when they opened at noon. We tabbed out with our Wonderful waitress (is the only reason I gave a 5 star on service) at about 4:30. There are two friends that walked in at that time and sat with us. The one friend went up to the bar to get him and his wife a drink came back to the table and ordered three more beers for us with the waitress. My husband walked up to the bar to ask to have the football game put on the television and the bartender screamed at him " we are busy you have a waitress if you need something ask her" he sat down and was pretty angry. (We all were surprised) When our friend asked where our beers were the waitress that hold on I will check on them. That's when the bartender Kendra walked over to our table and said to us "you have been there since noon and I don't feel comfortable serving you,". Now mind you we were not drunk or causing any problems, she just caught an attitude as soon as my husband walked up to the bar to ask about the football game, I guess she assumed he was going to ask for a drink. The two friends that joined us are regulars there and they were quite embarrassed of how we were treated along with people at the bar that they also knew. It's a shame because I've always liked the place and never had any problems and we've always had a good amount of people walk in with us. I've never been kicked out of an establishment we're just sitting there at a table with friends enjoying our day out. Kendra should not be working in an establishment like that if this is how she treats people that is not great customer service. There were 3 of us that entered together and 5 that walked out together and went to spend our money...
Read moreMy husband introduced me to Pirrone's 13 years ago. I ALWAYS order their cannelloni in white sauce. The white sauce is always thick and creamy, the cannelloni is always perfectly cooked, both the noodle and the meat filling. It is amazing. Twice within the past 2 months I have been totally disappointed. My first disappointment was earlier in June when I placed an order on my birthday for lunch carry out cannelloni & white sauce. (I usually bring my own lunch every day to work, so this was going to be a real treat.) I ordered online, paid, and drove to Pirrone's on my lunch hour from work to pick it up. I arrived and was informed that they were out of cannelloni since the day before, and they were just notified by the kitchen personnel. What???? So i ended up with cannelloni bites with butter sauce. After a short conversation, since it was a couple of dollars more, for the appetizer, they did agree not to charge me for it. Thank you. It was good, just not what I really wanted. My second disappointment is very recent. My husband and I went to Pirrone's for dinner, I even joked that I hoped they weren't out of cannelloni. They weren't, but once it arrived at our table, the sauce was thin and greasy, the noodle was undercooked, and the meat filling was overcooked and crunchy. What ??? I ended up eating the buttered bread. I will now need to find a different establishment for my cannelloni in white sauce fix, which is a...
Read moreWhen you place your carry out order, if they tell you 30 minutes, to 45 minutes, add extra time onto that.
In addition, if you dine in, service is slow, over an hour waiting (we were there when they opened) when we were told our food would be out in 20 to 30 minutes. At the 20 minute mark, we were told our food to be out in 15 minutes. An hour later nothing.
When we placed our original order, I ordered a half fried chicken to go, and asked our waitress to drop it now since our food was going to be out in 30 minutes or so.
After being told that our original order was going to be out in another 15 minutes. I asked for everything to be put as to go. At this point I was also advised that my to go fried chicken order was not dropped.
During the initial wait, I placed a carry out order at the bar for pizzas, and asked them to go ahead and place the order and not wait.
After 20 minutes, of placing the order, I was told that my pizzas would be 10 minutes longer, I said go ahead and cancel, which they could not figure out how to do. Therefore an additional 10 minutes of waiting to get pizzas, because they didn’t know how to cancel it off of the ticket.
There was plenty of staff working, both in the kitchen and...
