honestly this was a very poor experience for absolutely no reason. i asked for a very simple order. everything bagel, with lox cream cheese and an egg. the whole restaurant was confused not sure why. the cashier didn’t know what she was doing at all, maybe train her a little better before having her take clients? she asked me like 4 times to clarify my order. finally cashed us out as she was frustrated with the system and then came to the table we were waiting at AGAIN for clarification. then someone from the kitchen ALSO asked me for clarification??? i saw the screen it said everything bagel, lox cream cheese, add egg. how is what i asked for so difficult to understand? then they kept asking me if i wanted actual slices of salmon like?? lox cream cheese HAS SALMON. ANYWHERE YOU GO. it seemed like it was everyones first day here. i then made a separate transaction of chips and a soda. also didn’t know how to ring that up. then end of the day i still dont know what cream cheese i got because it wasn’t a lox cream cheese lol and the bagels were hard. the ones they had on the wall looked so good and had so much seasoning and then mine did not. i ordered to go and also had to clarify that as well. will not be returning that was so frustrating. i came here years ago and loved it, truly dont know what happened and im reviewing in hopes that the owner will take this into consideration and make some very simple changes or hire other people. they were nice people but not qualified or properly trained to offer good customer service. also based on the owners responses to past reviews no wonder this place is...
Read moreI was over in this part of town looking for a decent bagel shop and came upon this. Ordered an egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It was average, a little bland except for the everything seasoning. Cheese didn't have much flavor. I got a half a dozen bagels to go. So I open up the bag just now and I looked at the bagels and they look and feel like thin hockey pucks. The two everything bagels in a separate bag are better looking and had a little more crunch and softness to them. I attempted to try the cinnamon raisin and it was a thin hockey puck. Actually one of the worst Bagels I've ever had. Tried the blueberry, same thing a thin hockey puck with little flavor. Pulled out the French toast bagel and again a thin hockey puck and did not even give a hint of a whiff of any french toast or any smell at all. Honestly I'm so disappointed. I don't know what I'm going to do with this half dozen bagels because I really can't eat them they're too hard and thin not appetizing at all. The girl at the counter was very pleasant though and the atmosphere is cute inside but overall I only gave it a three because the everything bagel was just ok and lots of egg and also because the girl at the counter...
Read moreI have been to Bella's in the past and had good experience. Yesterday I went at 9 AM. I ordered a toasted onion bagel with cream cheese to go. There were 4 onion bagels available. I watched them hand the order into the kitchen. While I was waiting other people came in and got bagels to go. I waited for 10 minutes and was then told there were no onion bagels. They sold them after I placed my order. The owner never apologized or offered a free bagel to make up for their mistake. Incredibly poor customer service. I will not go back. Instead I will spend my money at St. Pete Bagel Co.
RESPONSE TO BELLA'S RESPONSE: I understand you were busy and I appreciate the apology. I did not care about having to get another bagel. I would have been fine with that. An apology at the time would have resolved the entire issue. The person working the cash register had an opportunity to apologize but did not. She did not seem to want to take ownership of the mistake and was curt. She was the only customer service person I could interact with. I don't know what waiting would have done as she basically blew me off. No hard feelings on my end. It was only...
