My recent visit to Practically Pikasso was a delightful escape into the world of artistry and relaxation. This studio offers a unique opportunity to create personalized artworks in a laid-back setting. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the staff who guided me through the studio's offerings. The atmosphere was inviting, with a vibrant display of pottery and canvas waiting to be transformed into masterpieces. Opting for a ceramic piece, I decided to paint a small skull that will complement my collection of shot glasses—a quirky addition that reflects my personal style. The studio provided all the necessary tools: brushes, paints, and expert advice on techniques, making the creative process both accessible and enjoyable. What struck me most was the versatility of Practically Pikasso. It's an ideal destination for families looking to bond over a shared activity or individuals seeking to unwind and channel their inner artist. The studio's relaxed environment encourages exploration and experimentation, ensuring that everyone, regardless of skill level, can feel at ease. Throughout my visit, the staff was attentive and helpful, providing tips without being intrusive—a testament to their dedication to customer satisfaction. The studio itself was well-maintained, with ample space and a cozy ambiance that fostered creativity. In conclusion, Practically Pikasso exceeded my expectations as a place to unwind and engage in a creative pursuit. Whether you're looking to spend quality time with loved ones or simply to unwind solo, this studio offers a fulfilling experience. Read moreMy daughter wanted to have a unique party experience. She wanted to have a party somewhere that her friends had never been before. So, I suggested Practically Picasso because we had always enjoy ourselves before. My daughter enjoyed painting grandpa and grandma's coffee mugs for Christmas, and then there was a plate for her mom's birthday. The staff always makes us feel right at home. I'm glad that we had the party here because all of her friends had a great time, they never been there before and they enjoyed picking out their pieces, along with painting them. Not to mention everyone got to put their finger print on a plate, to show everyone in attendance for my daughters birthday. The staff even paints the plate and writes the name of each person next to their thumb print. Trust me when I say writing anything in paint is an art in itself. The staff made making the reservation quick and easy and they called to confirm the party size three days before. Then a member of the staff called the day of to see if there was anything that she could do to help. When we left for the party, I forgot to grab drinks. Thankfully, Pratically Pikasso had a little snack bar and I was able to provide drinks to the kids. I highly recommend Practically Picasso if your trying to find something fun and unique to do. If you want to have a party or just paint a pottery piece for a love one, this is the...
Read moreThe last time we went (as we frequently go there), we went within 2 hours of closing time. We thought we would have time to complete everything, and we did, but that was thanks to the very sweet and helpful staff they have on. They help you pick your colors to paint a blank figurine or several other things (dishes, ornaments, frames, etc). The staff is very knowledgeable, and you can tell they genuinely care and take pride in what they do. We managed to finish, thanks to them, and are very happy with the results! This is a wonderful place to either come and relax by yourself or take the kiddos of most ages for something different to do, while allowing your kids to be creative. Turn around time after they put your items in the kiln is about a week or 2, depending on how large or small your project is. They host parties for both adults and children. If you're looking for something creative and fun to do on a rainy day, this is your spot! We have picked this spot for several of my son's birthday parties, and both parents and kids had a lot of fun. I highly recommend taking the time to visit their new location (just off Central Ave on the way to Treasure Island. Behind the Amscot). Usually, if you have a bday party there, they will include a birthday plate that everyone gets to add a fingerprint to. So cute! We will be back to create more art and great...
