Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

This location gets negative stars from me, unfortunately. I had to give 1 star to get this posted. In ALL of my 50+ years I have NEVER sat in a drive thru a good solid 15 minutes after the girl said she would be just a minute. Her end of the intercom was on the entire time & she wasn't goofing off but it sounded as though she was taking orders(many) over the counter as well as running the drive thru. She was very slow, may have been in training. Cars behind me left. Finally another employee came out the back door and said he would remind her I was still there. He went in and told her that her mic was on and she immediately turned it off. I waited another 2 or so minutes before finally resigning the craving for Churches Chicken and left like all the others in search of food elsewhere. Regardless the situation, the Management should NEVER have allowed this to happen. Not only is it bad business, imagining how much money they lost, but instead of a 5 star review that people now-a-days rely on so heavily... They generated a whopping Negative -0- from me & who knows how many others. Now how much money are they loosing?Managers please...

As a frequent visitor to St.Pete. A senior citizen and veteran. My sisters and i made a stop at this place. We make it a point to stop at random places on our return back to Sarasota. On our way back home. We stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Well the lounge was blocked off. And they refused me to use the restroom. Had to go to the Wawa down the road on U.S.19. Fortunately i made it. I did not buy anything from them after the refusal. They were willing to take my money. But i could not use y Facilities. No thanks. This is not 1960. Drove across town because the one closest to me was very busy.I drove from 5th Ave N & 66th St to 22nd Ave S & 34th St N.Service was quick and efficient.Staff was very cordial and accommodating.Chicken was great as always.Unfortunately there's a lack of attention to detail with my order.I also ordered a apple pie turnover instead i rec'vd an addt'l sm fry instead! Unacceptable as i now face the prospect of having to drive back across town to make them correct this mistake.Didnt mind driving further for mine and my wife's dinner.Don't think i should have to spend more of my time and gas driving back for them to fix this.Next time i'll wait a little bit longer at my regular store if it means they get...
